I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their lovely messages of support. It helps us in our quest of producing these podcasts. The cultural legacy left by the Clancy family runs through all of us and we’re delighted to be continuing and developing this tradition. All the best
Glad to see yall back up and going, and good to see you honoring those who have gone home for the long rest. May the light of the lord shine upon your face, and at grandmother's fire you always have a space, May you always know who you are, and your nights be lit by a great star!
Great to see ye back. What I wouldn't give to be sitting in the new room looking up at ye!🥰Love the pic of Patie, Patrick, Finbarr and Áine over the mantlepiece!! !❤
I'm an American, 39 years old, and I grew up on the Clancy Brothers by way of my father and grandfather. In our house, the Clancys were the preferred music at Christmas time, more so than any Christmas carol. We still have the LPs from the 60s, and the Clancys are always part of our celebrations. Thank you for keeping it all alive! Much love from down here in Medellin, Colombia!
In fact, the Clancys were so influential in my life, that I took up guitar at the age of 21 because I loved your songs so much, and I'd been singing them since I was 5 years old, that I wanted to play just like you all! I would have never discovered my love of playing guitar if it weren't for you lot!
Such a lovely "Peggy Gordon'
