I went to the Clancy Brothers Festival around 2013, and after the cousins concert I went to Pollards for a pint, and soon all the Clancy cousins rolled in and Finbar said, "Does anyone have a guitar?" Many hours of song later Mickey Pollard said, it's 3:30 in the morning. Have ya no shame...Go home." A fond memory I visit often. Thank you for sharing your talents.
Superb stories. It must have been so much fun for you all growing up around such legends and for sure some of that talent rubbed off on you too. I'm the same age as yerselves and grew up listening to the Clancy Bros and Makem and Clancy - The Soundtrack to my Life. I play and sing a lot of their songs just for fun and really enjoy it so much. Keep up the great work with the Podcast.
