I gave mouth to mouth and chest compressions for 20 minutes until the ambulance arrived. I think he was dead on arrival. I was shaken for quite a time because we’d been chatting normally up to the point he stood up suddenly, said he felt really unwell and went face down into the flower bed. RIP, Martin. Wife and two small children.

Classic panic attack. Shallow breathing, getting quicker and quicker, pulse racing like buggery, heart feels like its about to explode, and a terrifying feeling of impeding death. Ive never had one, but my wife has had several. Staying calm, slowing down the breathing, holding the breaths in the lungs. Strangely its all to do with CO2. the gas the government claim is bad, 😂. Its the CO2 In the air we breath that stimulates the lungs! In a panic cycle of shallow rapid in/out breathing over oxygenates the air and the CO2 is expelled too quickly causing a viscious cycle if not stopped, the person collapses. While unconscious the brain can do a system reset! CO2 is great for humans and plants!
When the person who first discovered carbon dioxide did so, little did they know that it would later serve two purposes. The ability of this simple gas to be used to control and tax people for no good reason whilst giving the middle class something to feel superior about was simply not understood back then.
@pippip8744 😂 now this odourless, tasteless and weightless material of nature is worth 1 Trillion Dollars annually in 'trade'. But you and I can't sell it! 😮 that's not including all the carbon levies.
