Thank you, Joe! Yeah, i'm tired a bit of driving to Carbon County in PA. Pretty far, 3 hours one way. NJ is much closer to Philly. I have pinned a few curious locations in South Jersey, need to explore on August
Darina, so glad you're back in my neck of the woods!! I love the pines 😊 Spent most of my life hiking and exploring the barrens. I absolutely love standing where others have stood. The "missing" posters are new to me though. I'd like to find out more about that particular area. I have to concur with the viewer who mentioned the "not so weathered" painters tape. It does seem odd. Anyways, great video as always...Thanks for sharing.
@@francisdv Hi, Francis! Right, the posters were not too shabby. I dont know exactly when rain was last time there. On my way back, i saw two ladies and a guys walking this way along railroad. May be it was their decorations for something. I have discovered a few interesting places to visit in Pine barrens last week. Need to plan adventures. As well purchased a metal detector recently. But, honestly, don't know yet if it's legal to use it there. No clear info(
Being raised in the Pine barrens of New Jersey.. I can 100% attest to how dang creepy it is! 😱 Lots goes on there, that's unseen by us all! This was a walk down memory lane for me! ☺️ Thanks!
We called that place by some other name back in the late 70's . Used to canoe on some kind of clear water man made lake . It's near Millville . Lots of strange people in Millville in those days . Used to hear strange tales about them folks !
How about you zoom in on some of those missing people? I’d bet none of them are real. All put up on white printer paper with blue painters tape? That wouldn’t last half a week out there. All facing the same direction? With a sprinkling of flags stuck in the ground just for that bit of added pizzazz. This is so unauthentic it crosses the line into wrong. I hope you cleaned up that trash you put up in those woods. And for that matter I hope you encounter one of the ACTUAL scary things out in the Pines. And then maybe you’ll think about to which lengths you’re willing to go to grow your channel.
Great to see you back in the Pines again WC ! We the people of New Jersey welcome your return. Great episode as always !

@@walkingcam1 I really don't think use of a metal dector is prohibited anywhere. I see many doing it. Good luck and Happy Exploration 😊
Definitely gives off blair witch kind of vibes
that's kind of crazy all the people going missing in places
somebody on Facebook told me that something like was found on Long Island years ago
@@walkingcam1 got to be careful and armed when out exploring
@@thepawanderer thinking about that. Pepper spray in only thing im carrying now
@walkingcam1 yea that's not good because if the wind is wrong it will go into your own face, get a pistol

agree, the Pine is a bit weird place, but i love it for that
My grandfather was a night watchman there.
in the Silica company?
@@walkingcam1Yes, but I believe it was under different ownership. I’ll have to call my dad tomorrow and get more info.
@@PushrodBob would be great 👍 absolutely no info on the internet about this company. I even couldn't find when and why it was closed

hi, Dianne! 🙂 it was a really strange place. Going tomorrow for metal detecting to north jersey. Wish me luck 🙂
@walkingcam1 Loads and loads of the Best Luck!! what a spooky spot.I got goosebumps! Stay safe D:))
Hi Darina! I've come across so many stories about the Pine Barrens that I don't know what's real and what's not. 😱
hi, Lyndon! after the trip i tried googling and learned that similar spot was found on Long Island years ago. That's east from New York.
Blue painter’s tape looks very new to me
it was done a week ago or something. The paper almost not damaged with rains
Some sort of creepy memorial I suppose😮
Hello, Dave! Or sort of Halloween decorations. Although, the paper is pretty new, not damaged with rains too much
Is the unreal object the computer generated faces?
at least, two of them were real. I googled a few names later

hello, Roman! At least, two person were real and disappeared in 80s. I googled names after the trip
Agreed Roman. The one poster that was shown at the opening of the video is from the movie It.
The missing persons thing is just Pineys trying to scare tourists. Kinda like your doing to viewers with the "creepy" music/sound effects.
Hi! Of course, how could do without music/sfx? Need to emphasize vibes 🙂
Being a "Piney," I can tell you some creepy stuff goes on out there! The mafia loved the barrens because it's easy to "lose" somebody in there..
