I'm 75 and was born and lived just a few blocks from the Falls , it was a place of wonder and fun for me growing up. When I moved into the world, The Falls was the first place I returned to on my return. I've had an amazing and incredible life but I have always returned......My ashes will be here soon.
I met Billy one day back when i was a police officer for Paterson NJ He has lots of knowledge about the Falls district. And a Huge Collection of things he got out of the Mighty Passaic River. He is a nice guy and will talk about the Area with anyone that finds him in the power plant. Funny story when i visited him he had a hand gun he retrieved from the river. I had to recover it as Evidence. The state police were able to fix it and make it fire again. It was found that the gun was infact used in a crime (Shooting) No suspect was ever tied to it though.
bullshit . . . have u seen the cost of living, the sky-high taxes, the never-ending corruption, etc.?? U must have lived here several decades ago & thinking it's still the same Lmao P.S. not to mention, it's the 2nd or 3rd top state with a mass exiting, esp. of longtime residents.
I always watch weird new jersey i remember the biggest cat in the world and was very moving by the work you all did to save that huge cat. I wish weird new jersey and all people a healthy, peacefully and happy new year. Keep new jersey folklore alive never gave up. This is how this state become who we are rich on history. Best of the best👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Born and raised here. I love my city !!! Paterson is a tough, tough city but I tell you what; growing up here- I can go anywhere in America and stand on straight up business!
FANTASTIC PROSE! This story is written and delivered beautifully. I've been a WNJ fan since I was 10...and both my parents loved your publication. I got older and was torn between my love of reading and the amount of working I was doing ,and sadly fell back....but this video has definitely resparked my interest and excitement. Happy New Year Weird NJ crew! Can't wait to see the things I've missed! Happy to be back!

When I was in my early teens I remember walking from Valley Road in Clifton to the Falls area. I remember going with a buddy into a small red brick building that had a sign "Paterson Museum". Does anyone remember that? there were many stuffed bids inside. That is all I remember. It was likely back in the late 1950's.
I keep meaning to go there when they "turn off" the falls, but haven't gotten there yet. It must look really strange with no water going over the edge.
I lived in Paterson I have seen the pools myself it's was amazing you just got to use it extreme caution when going down there I almost fail twice trying to go there
I can’t believe that you removed those items from that area?? Those are items that obviously are related to Satanic rituals and you shouldn’t have unbound that voodoo doll. It probably had a spell attached to it! If the people are saying it’s a voodoo doll to put it back, I would do it!!
Thanks to the Weird NJ crew for revamping Weird NJ’s social media presence with all these recent videos. I’m loving it!
Thanks Robbie, glad you're digging it. Much more to come!

Please post a follow up for the Spring showing us the path as you climb down.
I agree I would like to know too.

Being from New Jersey myself I'm probably prejudice but the Garden State is an awesome place to live
Agreed.

Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it. Happy New Year to you too!
I lived across from the Falls in the 80s. Loved seeing them from my living room window.
Nice view!
Paterson, I was born and bred there. 1960. I live in Florida now, but still call Paterson my home.
That intire area is ancient and I'm not talking 200 to 300 years ago,Im talking about thousands.. great presentation
Thank you!
try millions

Great this guy found all the brujería
I’ve been there! And I live only 15mins from Paterson! Very Interesting info!

Yes, we remember. Nick Sunday, who is featured in the video had something to do with that museum.
It’s still there
Holy crap! No wonder Paterson, NJ is a hot mess. 😶
I keep meaning to go there when they "turn off" the falls, but haven't gotten there yet. It must look really strange with no water going over the edge.
5:05 I heard "Bill The Pillow" LOL. Good video. I will like to know the origin of those daggers.
Fantastic story Stelling...
Well, thank you Sarah!
@@WeirdNJTVwhat year did you find this stuff?
There is a hidden cave behind the falls. Indian artifacts were found years ago by my stepdad.
Wow really??
I remember one summer we were in a major drought. It didnt rain for over a month. Saw people going down there walking the water was so low.
Most likely the doll is Santeria. I would visit Washington st in Paterson for more answers.

so you just about-faced and left poor Nick to descend by himself?? def need that springtime sequel you promised!
I’m a practitioner of Lucumi and Palo Mayombe. I know EXACTLY what that doll is. I’ll come down and take a look at it for you. I live in town
Not sure if Billy still has the doll - it's been a few years since we were last in touch with him.
Great job with this video guys!!! -Kevin B
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Hey Kevin - I didn't realize that was you commenting. Happy New Year to you and yours!
Hell no to the doll. I've watched enough Paranormal Caught on Camera to know that!
Grew up at the Falls, pretty much. What's with the daggers? Seems like it's a primo place of rituals? Who knows. I just always thought it was so cool.
I love the video, but I really had hoped you would have gone down with the “crazy guy” and shown us the devil’s pathway!
Way too dangerous at that time of year. It would make much more sense to go when the river is lower and the rocks not covered with ice.
@@WeirdNJTV - Will there be a follow up video?
@@knytrydr73 It's hard to say. Now that the area is a National Historic Site, security is much tighter and fines for trespassing far more severe.
I wonder if that guy ever saw Trilogy of Terror?
I'll do the honors of being the first thumbs up! 😁 Happy New Year guys!!
Thank you, same to you!
@@WeirdNJTV I love my haunted New Jersey! 😁☠️👻😬 It's home!
Any thing weird about Budd Lake, N.J.
Everything, dude . . . .
my father lives there. I would love to know the same as well !
Ok anyone else enjoying 3 grown men trying to dress a doll so cute !
I'd get rid of that doll if I was him
You never should the pathway!!
There is no path down there! I know the area very well. Billy and Nick are weirdos, Wecome to P-Town!
You can hike/walk down to the bottom via the rocks.
Is one allow to go down that devil’s path or you guys got permission to explore down there in order to make this video?
When you go to the park the Park department thinks you want them to moe the Grass you
This is someone that has Rogers museum things

Primitive superstition for imbeciles.
It would be more interesting if 95% of the adjectives were removed from the narrative.
There voodoo things have people thinking stupid things
Exploring the Devil’s Pathway when because this video isn’t showing any pathway ?? ……
For anyone wondering none of the things in any of the books are like real some are still real places but no haunting ghost or anything just history
Says you.
Ha .. Completely incorrect.
Has anyone gone magnet fishing there?
Why don’t y’all call it Rainbow or Sunset Bridge
