The full answer is that it doesn't matter how good your pronunciation is; some people will always just take one look at your face, see you as "un-Japanese" and then disbelieve the sounds they hear coming out of your mouth. This is a psychological blip and it is entirely their problem. Just keep talking, and regardless of how bad you think your accent is, sooner or later the context will make everything clear and they will forget that they shouldn't be able to understand you. A very small minority will never get over it. They will continually try to make you feel small or out of place. Such people can be found the world over. Just avoid them: they're not worth your time.
I just learnt Japanese. I think besides kanji, accent is difficult because how we pronounce it can affect the meaning. I find it hard to pronounce high and low tones. Can I speak Japanese fluently? Please encourage me! /cry

まぁ、そう言うこともあるよね。俺も同じだ。ドイツ語とチェコ語、この二つの言語をほとんど使わないから話せるレベルなど特に90％減になってもおかしく無いでしょう

音楽的 “一拍” は四分音符がひとつで、タンとはいいますが、
正しく一拍を表すには、裏拍も併せて「♩♩♩♩」＝「いちトにトさんトしト 」と表します。なので正確に伝わらないと思います。
例えば音符に併せるなら、切手は “タッカ” に値します。
イントネーションやアクセントもあるので、それについては絶対音感ガードレールある人に、譜面化してもらうことになるかも。
アプリの NHKアクセント辞典 が必要です。

the syllables are much different from English for example: Japanese Se n se i 4 syllables, English Sen sei 2 syllables

頭の中で一定のタイミング信号をイメージするには、ある程度の音数（長さ）を聞いてない難しい。例えば「きって」の前後が全く無音だと、日本人でも難しい、確実に断定できないこともある。
間隔の異なる2音、最小3音（促音含めると4文字の音）。
まあ、方言聞いたことない日本人はまずないから、前後の文章から補って正しい意味を理解できます、たぶん。
からかうのは、アナウンサー同士だけかも知れません。大阪人にあなたの日本語間違ってると言うような人はおそらくいません。
標準語アクセントは、日本語の包装紙のようなもので、さほど致命的ではないかも知れません。
あっ、普通の日本人より綺麗な日本語を目指す人は、アクセントは大事です。
