Took my wife to her first RT gig. All she could talk about after was how good MJ was. Couldn't really disagree. Astonishingly good.

From Zydeco at the outset to psychedelic jam... It made me feel better ;-)
I usually focus on RT, but the drummer held my attention throughout.
I saw an interview with RT where they asked him about the drummer. His response? "He's quite a find, isn't he?"
I was there. It was freaking great. Thank you Iowa City Arts Council or whomever put it on.

Awesome, as is about everything RT does, but "Tear-Stained Letter" really does lose something in the "electric trio" format, it's really supposed to be an extended workout jam between about a half dozen instrumental wizards.
