Below are what each character's S-Crafts do in order of how they are shown in the video. I decided to put it in a pinned comment instead of cluttering the video with text.
    (Character - Type - Scaling / Range / Effect - Hit Count)
    Van (1st) -- Physical -- S+ / Circle (LL) -- 11 + (enemies*1)
    Van (2nd) -- Physical -- SS / ST / Deals 2nd instance of magic damage -- 1
    Grendal (1st) -- Physical -- S+ / Circle (LL) -- 22 + (enemies*1)
    Grendal (2nd) -- Physical -- SS / ST / Deals 2nd instance of magic damage -- (target*1)
Agnes -- Support -- All / Revive + HP Heal + HP Regen -- None
    Feri -- Physical -- S / Circle (LL) / Burn -- Variable (see note)
    Aaron -- Physical -- SS / Circle (LL) -- (enemies*6)
    Risette -- Physical -- S+ / Circle (LL) / Deathblow -- (enemies*6)
    Quatre -- Magic -- S / Line / Freeze -- (enemies*1)
    Judith -- Physical -- S / All / Gloom + All Cancel -- (enemies*1)
    Elaine -- Physical -- SS / Circle (LL) -- (enemies*7)
    Zin -- Physical -- SS / Circle (LL) / DEF & ADF Down -- (enemies*1)
    Fie -- Physical -- S+ / All -- (enemies*6)
    Celis -- Magic -- S+ / Circle (LL) / Burn (Strong) -- (enemies*5)
    Rion -- Magic -- S / Circle (LL) / Freeze (Strong) -- (enemies*5)
    Swin -- Physical -- S+ / Circle (LL) / Marking -- 1 + (enemies*12)
    Nadia -- Magic -- S / Circle (LL) / ATK & ATS Down -- (enemies*11)
    Shizuna -- Physical -- SS / All / Delay -- (enemies*1)
    Kincaid -- Physical -- S+ / Circle (L) / All Stats Down -- 1 + (enemies*7)
    Renne -- Physical -- S+ / Circle (LL) / Deathblow + Gloom -- (enemies*1)
    Note: 1 enemies = 9 hits, 2 enemies = 20 hits, 3 enemies = 30 hits, 4 enemies = 40 hits, 5 enemies = 45 hits, 6 enemies = 46 hits, etc.

I love how these attacks are somehow flashy, and yet scaled down from the final crafts prior to Reverie. It allows the player to acknowledge that it is indeed a new story, but doesn't forget its roots

If there's a detail I love in the Kuro series is how they don't just make thier weapons Vanish. They made them store their weapons, and it's especially interesting for Renne, heer schyte was so big for her, and yet she always made it vanish, especially in Cold Steel IV, that always made me feel conflicted, that they never like, added the weapons of the cast into their models when stored. XD

Unfortunately thats for almost all JRPGs. Final fantasy did it even in final fantasy xv. FF7R is really the first one i can think of (outside of the online games) where its not a thing. Really noticeable when its a character like Agate making a huge ass sword appear and disappear.

Silver-haired girl is Shizuna. She is from one of the post-game story events you get for completing Reverie's post-game; specifically the one about Rean and his family's trip to Longlai. Zin and Renne should also be familiar; Zin was in the Sky arc and Renne has been in every arc -- she actually holds the record for the character that has made the most appearances in the series.

its a shame they didnt give anyone other than van a second s craft. i get this game came out like what, a year after kuro 1, but still. a far cry of the 3 per character of old, and the standard 2 each of cold steel (excluding guests) its especially sad since the s crafts show the growing strength of the characters as the plot progresses, so to have everyone only have 1 is a real shame (especially agnes who is stuck with only healing locking her out of damage builds)

    • @RozalinGaming
      @RozalinGaming  5 месяцев назад +1

You actually do very little healing in both Kuro games due to how ridiculously overpowered Risette's Cobalt Curtain is. In Agnes' case, she becomes an offensive caster off the back of Arc Feather -- similar to Feri, Risette, and Judith -- and in Kuro 2 she does the same thing but prioritizes spamming Holy Bloom 90% of the time. Magic is also so much stronger than everything else that in general you don't really use damaging crafts in either game.

    • @rpzamer1218
      @rpzamer1218 5 месяцев назад

@RozalinGaming that is unless your playing nightmare mode where many enemies can go around 1 hitting most characters unruffled. Then you do need the healing craft. And again that fact that on lower difficulties you don't need the heels makes it even more sad Agnes did not get another s craft. I just finished kuro 1 not long ago. Waiting for 2 to go on sale

@@rpzamer1218 I played both Kuro 1 and 2 exclusively on Nightmare mode for a combined total of 300+ hours getting both Platinum trophies. Nightmare mode in both games is insultingly easy as the ONLY differences between difficulties are enemy speed value and HP value -- literally nothing else changes; a major complaint from the JP community is with how easy both games are. If you are needing to heal, and especially if enemies are one-shotting you, then you are doing something horribly wrong.

@RozalinGaming oh really. I was wondering about that as I also played nightmare on kuro 1, but yeah it was mostly the s crafts that were 1 hitting some guys. But the game was still stupid easy, not saying it wasn't. While the game play is by far the best it did get mind-numbing by the end because of difficulty. Glad to know jp fans complain about that. Maybe it will change for end of zemuria

I think a large part of that is how busted the field battle mechanic is and how easy it is to get a stun on multiple enemies

Am almost finished with Kuro or Daybreak and I wish I haven't cause I have to wait till 2025 to play Kuro 2 😭. Especially now with Kai coming with Rean with his new tachi and Altina returning.
Still though I expected they would get some new S crafts like the other games before but aside from Van all the others are same.

I don't know how opposed to it you may be, but a member of my Discord has a setup that lets him use Google Translate to play the games in Japanese since he can't speak Japanese, and I'm sure he'd be willing to tell you how he does it/help.
The main negative is that the text can be a bit janky that way, but the positives include potentially a cheaper game due to exchange rate, more accurate translation that also has no censorship (he has checked with me on numerous occasions to confirm the translations are accurate), and not needing to wait for NISA.

@@RozalinGaming thanks for that but since i waited this long for Kuro i can wait a bit longer for Crimson Sin, atleast the wait is not as long as Cold Steel 3, 4 and Reveire.🙂

I’m playing this in the third act and I miss spamming S craft in the last game

    • @RozalinGaming

Just spam Cetus Phantasma with 3 mages; it does more damage than S-Crafts, hits everything 12x per target for huge chains while also applying All Cancel and All Stats Down, is essentially free because of Cataract Gain, and can trigger the incredibly broken Arc Feather, which thanks to Agnes' Holy Bloom, is easy to trigger due to a near 100% uptime on at least 1 Burst. Cetus Phantasma also has 0 enemies in the entire game that are resistant to it due to it being Water/Mirage.
In the first game the meta was to do Van + 3 casters and have Van use his S-Craft to build chain while spamming Obsidian Ray w/ Arc Feather. In Kuro 2, it's basically the same except you no longer use 2x S-Craft in a row with Van and you replace Obsidian Ray with Cetus Phantasma once you get it.
