- In this VladTV Flashback from earlier this year, NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp reacted to a fellow HOFer and the budding tension between him and his co-host on a popular sports debate show. For those still unaware, Sapp delves into the rift between Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless which became seemingly irreparable after Bayless tried belittling Shannon's playing career. Sharpe is set to leave the show at the conclusion of the NBA Finals.
Shannon had to catch himself from saying I’m better than you 😂. He ain’t never stoop that low to say Skip was a wannabe when he could have during a debate.
But he was always hating on tom. Tried say his rings didn't matter that's what started it

Skip lost huge. He obviously lost respect from Shannon. He also lost respect from the sports media, sports fans, casual fans, and probably his own self. Shannon is going to go on and do bigger and greater things but it's the beginning of the end for Skip Sayless.

Shannon could have stooped to his level and brought up the fact that QBs have one the least athletic positions in sports in general. Its easier to age as a qb rather than having contact each play.
Idk if you’ve played football or not but the QB is one of the most athletic players on the team. Everything ain’t about how fast your 40 is. You still gotta be able to step up in the pocket and have good short area quickness and reflexes to avoid the DL

Shannon is the greatest h back ever. He was never a tight end with Denver until the end when he bulked up and got big. He was on the field with tight ends but the h back was basically an extra receiver who would really only block downfield and in motions. Shannon is the greatest h back ever. He retired holding every major receiving records for the h back and the tight end position. I think he’s by far the most skilled tight end ever but unfortunately a cat named gronk came along and took the goat of tight end title from him.
