Do you know of any good Tâi-gí podcasts or short video segments for daily news? Id love to implement something like that into learning, or just promotein general.
can i just point out for a bit here. I get that your simplified the 5 pitch levels into just 3 pitch levels, but i dont think those 3 pitch levels are simply, do re mi. I think they are actually do mi so. because the so is still high flat unlike mi. mi is simply mid flat. It confuses the learners if they actually take the pitch into consideration quite literally
You're still thinking about it the wrong way. The *actual* pitches vary both between speakers and between utterances for the same speaker (e.g. for emphasis or mood). But relative to one another, there are always exactly 3 distinct pitches.

看過第五課，比之前清楚多了。目前還必需把直調、橫調的表格拿在手邊對照，例句都是拼出音後，以自己的"語感" 猜出聲調。可能需要多練習…，請問實際應用是要把兩個表格牢記？還是一半用猜的？ 哈，好像要牢記才是正道 :D
我保証汝那買一本羅馬字个册、第一章開始一字一字共對照、讀甲第二章个時拵汝着發現看表格愈來愈少、第三章差不多朗免看。
所以我會講、免特別煩惱去記、共用幾那擺了自然得着記條。
