That franchise tip came at the right time! Prairie dogs would have been a great stand in animal for guinea pigs, I think I might borrow the idea actually.

Your build evokes such a strong memory of the old petting paddock at the San Diego Zoo; you should definitely consider a small insect house just like in the old children's zoo, porcupine could also be a great addition as those were housed in the old children's zoo for many years
i found something massive u can do with guests now with the new petting exhibits! u can make guest walk over self made bridges and paths without having to put paths underneath. if u create an petting exhibit. guest are able to wonder in that hanitat like personel. so u gide them were they have to walk with elephants grass hidden under the earth. u can force them to walk over bridges or small paths how u never were able to do before, i tested it and the guest dont even have to pass the gurst gate. as long as they are in the habitat they can wonder over bridges and such. i was able to build a beautiful japanese garden with small bridges and paths using this technic.

I'm really excited for this pack, though I will say, only critique I have of this pack is having lemurs, capuchins, and macaques, being interactive animals is a bit concerning considering how aggressive they can get around people. I'm sure there are zoos out there that allow people to interact with those animals, but I think generally, I'm a little weirded out by it lol
I agree. Apparently the guests will feed but not touch the monkeys which is slightly better but in general I wouldn't be allowing guests to interact with them closely.
I've been to a zoo where they allow guests to roam freely through lemur enclosures - touching them was discouraged but not banned 😊 typically the lemurs would keep to themselves but they seemed very comfortable and relaxed around people
@@ZSHplays btw I don’t know if feel the same, but if you’re going to do a petting zoo, I think you might have to go all out. With animals such as alpacas, llamas, pigs, even donkeys. The highland cows and the sheep are debatable however
I can't find any of these items does it have to be unlocked or something? I only see the rustic water tank and 4 goat statues 😢 I really wanted to use the white picket fence 😢

i tried the new animations that guest pet animals with the peafowls but the guest just did not pet them then i tried with the red ruffed lemurs my favorite animals animal by the way and the guest just could not leave them alone
The fact that the guests can pet the goats is incredible-definitely a technical nightmare, as you said. Very excited to play around with this pack!

i would always give the guests an alternative way aswell as i found out through testing that some guest just think they are stuck, but it does work

I also discovered the pigs don't use the mud bath enrichment. Hopefully this and the goat missing the climbing rock is rectified in a future update.

You should still add caribou into the petting zoo, since they are also now a guest interactive animal

Not since I went from the pre-release to the release version. I have heard that deleting an animal encounter can crash the game though?
