Thanks for making all these videos! im so hooked on pawn stars I can’t stop watching.
The Audio is freaking me out
0:02 Rick: "What in the world is that?"
1:15 (Rick lectures the seller on the finer points of the device)
It’s a pretty simple device, it’s like a small paper cutter, and those operate almost the exact same way, it can’t be that hard to figure out how it works
I mean I know the show is scripted but you can know about card cutting without knowing about that device.
There are some things I know a decent amount about but wouldn't recognize if someone randomly brought to me. Regardless tho, this show is scripted to the max, Rick likely tells his buddies how much to appraise the items at. I wouldn't stop at gold and silver pawn shop even if I had the literal holy Grail and I needed quick cash
Well you gotta make sure what you gotta talk about
This show is like a warm blanket
Best comment of the year
A warm blanket on a Sunday afternoon with some hot coco
What in the world was that
-rick 2020
Anonymity is like a warm blanket.
Yeah, it always puts you to sleep
I absolutely love how rick says what in the world is that and I've never seen something like this before then goes on to tell the seller all about it.
I was gonna type that exact comment almost word for word lol
@@427max I have love for this show
Every episode a wife being tired of having cool stuff in their house.
You must not be married
Married men are sissies
@@tuckergreen2818 so true because i see it on my friends they lost my respect
That's how i lost my comic book collection 😪 And where are we now? I divorced her on wife#2😂
Should have NEVER given up my comics!!!
Women can't understand men's need.
Murray is a great expert, love it when they bring him in
Idk how many times I've heard a guy say "my wife wants me to sell it" on this show...this show keeps reminding me why I shouldn't get married
🤣
H.L.Mencken said: "Marriage is the end of hope."
@@davicool9958 😂🤣
If your wife tell you to sell your stuff, you should tell her to sell her gifts from ex-boyfriend
pro tip, try to find someone who has a collection of anything cool they value. makes it impossible for them to judge you. My wife has like 1000+ DVDs and Blu rays so if i buy 1 thing i think is cool she has no grounds to tell me to get rid of something :p 8 years in and it's working just fine.
I want $1250 for something that you can sell for $750.
@@TG-kt9vg He would've also got paid for his acting too
@Anonymous .......Same for American Pickers.
"I got a buddy of mine who's a magician, let me give The Simpsons a call and I'll get him down here."
Rick: ‘I have a buddy who’s a magician...’
*in walks Sideshow Bob*
Love how rick tells you what it's for then the expert come in and tell you the same story
The whole deck has to be trimmed to work, on both sides of the card, essentially creating a wedge shaped deck. Now, when you invert one card, it's edge is felt on both sides. One can invert all the red cards and by a simple maneuver, separate an apparently randomized deck into two colors. Novelty decks, usually a marked deck too.
This is what they mean by "Cut the deck".
Yeah, lol
HA!
Reminds me of that Looney Tunes episode where Sam asks Bugs to cut the cards and slices the deck in half. "Not that way you darn galoot!"
The Ultimate Cheating Machine is Rick himself.
2:34 when she say she gonna give you that gwak gwak 3000
Rick has an eye of an always curious child. I can see it on his eyes.
I wish Rebecca was also a magician and was an expert in magician antiques.
She's a gorgeous woman, she exudes pheromones through video which is pretty amazing.
Magician dude been getting buff
Murray in a way is my favorite expert. You can tell he has such a passion for magic and he knows so much about it. I mean nobody can top Queen Rebecca but still, Murray is a close second.
Dave, you know you would tap Murray instead of Rebecca.
Rebecca's an average at best
"ULTIMATE cheating machine" might be a bit of a stretch
Big ol stretch
1:02 you just go bluh bluh bluh bluh and and then be like , here Ace of Spades
Very nice Rolex Milgauss on Rick's wrist.
Are you sure it was sitting on your coffee table ??? COFFEE TABLE?
Wasn’t this the same dude that was the expert on ouiji boards ??????🤣🤣🤣
never heard someone laugh that loud on rick's jokes before
Rick always has to have the last bid...lol
Even if it's just $25
Even though he asked after appraisal for more than appraised, he is probably one of the smoother negotiators
Says he has never seen anything like this then starts to tell him everything about it lol
Murray is one of my favorites
Seller: I hope we can strike a deal.
Me: Why didn’t he say “cut” a deal???
Rick closes his eyes a lot!
1:59 lol i love his yt channel
I'm surprised nobody has brought their wives to the shop to sell them off yet
The amount of times I’ve heard somebody say “my wife wants it out of the house” on this show is staggering
I got divorced, so I don't have to hear that anymore. Hallelujah.
They should have drawn cards for it, whoever gets the highest card gets their price, Rick at 450 and the seller at 500.
Expert: These sell for $750.
Rick: What's your best price on it?
Customer: How bout $1250.
lol,, give me $1250 so you can be out $500
@@dfygoh3215 Ok, give me $750....because you don't need to frame it.
murray always says he doesnt give away secrets, he just did Lol
I learn more about History on this show than the rest of the History channel
The demand for card cutters in very high.
No, this trimmer was not made by the Ball Brothers who made jars. It was made by Annie Ball from Chicago. She and her brother ran a company that made gambling and cheating items for gamblers.
With my folks LOL
Another wife keeping the pawn shop going...
Wants $1500.
Gets appraisal for $750.
Wants $1250 afterwards. Could we get some clips of non-delusional sellers to a horrific degree?
Calls his friend in to look at it, but tells him to lowball the 1500 asking price.
For a second I thought it was Mathew Perry walking into the shop
I learned a lot about negotiating from watching this show.
It's called a shaved deck. I made one once and it works great.
Amazing the things people will do to cheat. Nice little cheating machine. Was fun to watch. Great video
He thought it was a gift wrapping cutter & all the sudden turned expert about it on how it’s used etc 🤦🏻♂️
Lmao
Exactly
GTA 5 Casino be like... 0:08 - 0:17
Pandemic uploads are great.
you would think you would never be addicted to this show
Think about how much history channel makes off of us in ad revenue. We see a 2 minute pawn star clip and we all watch.
$1500 for a pair of scissors mounted on a block BARGAIN lol
What on earth is that? 10 sec later knows everything about it*
He is such a great magician he made his comb disappear
Mr. Brown and the Ball brothers cut cards famously.
Why does every single seller always say their wife wants them to get rid of it 🤔🤔
The expert reminds me of Grandmaster from Thor Ragnarok.
Rick: I’m taking all the risk, it’s gonna sit for a while, it takes up a lot of real estate, I need to frame it, the auction fees, that’s cash right here right now, need to look for that niche market, …..
His wife is demanding he get rid of an item that's smaller than a shoebox. Makes sense
Whats the magicans name? I been to one of his magic shows like 5-6 years ago
magic murray
Walks in ''I'd like to sell my antique circumcision tool.'' Wait......wut???
I am in love with this show 😍
Hi! Thanks for being a #PawnStars fan!
For a minute the seller was imitating batman
He got the device from Mrs. Bobbit
i like how rick doesnt know what the item is and then all of a sudden acts like he knows everything about it
3:02 Say whaaaaaaat!!!!!
Best 475.00 Rick ever spent.
The "I got a buddy" show
Went to the store yesteday and it was nice
His hair is the real magic trick...
Grass don't grow on a playground Rick.
kidnapper: rick we took your son we want 10 thousand
rick: HAHAHA I can do 500 bucks and I'm taking a huge risk at that price
What’s your price? Negotiate against yourself and your best price will always be more than Rick will say is his best offer
Business card trimmer used it when working in print shop
Pick a card any card thats how they do it huh
No lol you can only find the card you cut
Magic Murray!!
I did not know Sideshow Bob was an actual person
Seller said maybe we can - strike a deal should have said - cut a deal ?
Me after seeing all the comments about pawn stars
Also me: mr world wide🤯🤯🤯🤯
Rick: How come Chumlee keeps winning our nighly poker games?
Chum: Grin.
Magician gave away a secret.
I mean... tapered or “stripper” decks are fairly common knowledge. The key, is to still fool
You with one, even though you know what’s in play.
Thats a lot he cut off ✂️ I would definitely notice that
He didn't show the best part. If you do a bunch of Aces cut this way you can open the deck one way and it will be all aces. If you do it all the opposite direction you see the regular cards and the Aces seem to disappear.
And I thought only barbers heard, just take a little of the sides.
They have someone for everything
Ever notice that they always get the asking price and then offer half
I guess they didn't have metal rulers and X-acto knives back then
I wonder how much extra money rick has made because the sellers wife doesn't want them coming home with it 😂
weird, no one commented on this part of laughing 3:54
The only thing funny I find about the show is that they seem to have an expert for every single thing that they bring in like every single item they have an expert for lol 😆 when I take my stuff to a pawn shop they don't call and expert in lol plus half the stuff they take to the pawn shops on here no ordinary pawn shop would buy anything like that. At least pawn shops around my area
Let me call a buddy of mine, he's an expert on card trimmers.
This is a very interesting show
Just make a 24 hour channel of pawn stars please. Something to watch on the toilet. I'm on the toilet alot..
-me right now
Dr Disrespect's trimmer?
My face when I saw magic Murray
At the end of the day its just a pawnshop.
It's a business card trimmer
When u walk in and see Rick just walk back and comeback later when he’s not there, if you need to sell something and never tell them the price before they call the Expert
