Do you still have your Dexter Cow? About how much milk would you get per day? How many months could you milk her before she went dry? She sure looks like a tamed animal. Beautiful coloring.

A dexter will only give about five to eight liters, a waste of time really

Could you share the breeder you got her from? We’re in the Austin area and looking for our first dexter cow. Thanks!

Andrea Sheinbein, this is Bob’s wife, Janine. I joined several Facebook Dexter Groups. Through the groups I found a local breeder whose location is very close to me. She has become a mentor to me. I wanted to buy from her. She has a bull that I will use. In the future, I will try AI to very the genetics of my herd.

My wife has joined a couple of dexter Facebook sites, in one we found someone close to us that has become a mentor and recommend the cows to us. She has an A2 bull we will bread to. I am adding 6 more blueberry wicking beds myself this spring. Good luck

Also I'm wondering how big the blueberry bushes will get in these containers? I'm using empty cattle mineral tubs.... 18" diameter...18 "" deep

Andrea Sheinbein mine are 3 to 4 foot they can get twice that but in containers they stay a bit smaller. You live on 972?
