A few suggestions. A more tapered point on your bolt or bolts. For deeper penitration!!! And of course dipped in rendered wasp venom for a more irritating and painful wound!!!! And aluminum bolts with twist fluted tails!!! Try gutter nails since most are aluminum for less weight. Beautiful artistic style and design by the way!!! And thank you for your obvious intellect!!! All in all a fantastic video!!!

Выношу на улицу и выпускаю на свободу.
В детстве делали круче, пробка от шампанского, напалечник, шарик от подшипника или гайка. Мощность больше, делать проще. Сама идея механизма - отстой, но оформление с рукояткой - огонь!

the wood is already cracked in tge front and much too weak. you should reshape it a bit and then tightly wrap it, ideally with something wrapped wet that shrinks when it dries, like gut or rawhide/parchment. either one of those wrapped with water-resistant wood glue would be very strong (but do it on bare unfinished wood, and reshape thr wood to prevent loosening by sliding). tough thin paper wrapped with the right fiber orientation created by the roller-drawing process of the wood pulp (cut in the direction in which it tears more easily, also identifiable based on paper bending more easily across the fiber than along the fiber) would also be pretty good.
