That is a OKUMA CEYMAR C-10 are C-20 honestly, I can't remember which size I was running that day but I'm guessing it's the C-20 that is a very fantastic reel from okuma..they also make them in the HD version but they are little bit bit bigger, but definitely more beefier
I have the ultralight and light. I love them both. I throw 4' senkos with the light and it's awesome as far as casting distance and sensitivity. I've landed a 4 lb largemouth, 19" smallie and a 13 lb carp with it. Fished the Gunnison with the ultralight throwing 1/8 jigs with Gulp minnows in very high, fast water and caught tons of brown trout. Best bang for the buck.
Well I was all for ordering the St Croix panfish rod but I stumbled across your TFO review and it looked like more fun...plus it seems like "EVERYONE" has a St Croix anyways and I like to be different.
They make great Rods..I accidentally broke my tip off In the car..And I was able to buy just the Front section For 25 bucks are so..So I thought that was pretty awesome..The fact that you can buy parts for your rod
I just got the 6'6" TFO panfish and really like it, but the Dobyns Sierra panfish looks good too after watching Fish Anything and his thoughts on it, although he's also a big fan of TFO. The thick section towards the butt on the Dobyns just doesn't seem right to me for ultralight. I also thought about St Croix, but the least expensive panfish model just didn't have great reviews on here, seemed like it would be more of a status purchase. I'll stick with TFO for now, have a nice Shimano Nasci 1000 on the way to put on it.
@@Thebradfishes hey brad im having the same dilemma from fish anything too i’m between this rod in a 1 peice 6 foot or a dobyns seirra trout and panfish 1 peice 6’2 either one i get i wanna pair it with a shimano sedona 1000 how do you like the tfo now you still enjoying it a lot of people seem to love it but the dobyns looks awesome too
Thanks for the video! Would you say the TFO Ultralight is a little less "light" than typical? I'm looking for something that has enough power to catch some decent bass but light enough for trout and crappie. Really love this rod but conflicted if I need to move up to a Light power rod (unfortunately they don't offer a light in 6'). 🤔
I think you would be very pleased with that Rod.. it's very much a all around Rod, but it is very fast tip so it's not spongy like a lot of other cheaper ultralights.. makes it a good all-around ride. I've caught some nice size, smallmouth, lots of power, and some really decent white bass with it.. so it can handle powerful fish, but still gives you the fun fact, even with bluegills and smaller pan fish.. I think it is the ultimate all around ultralight Rod
I believe that second fish you caught was a war mouth. A cross between a spot and a small mouth. He had a clear lateral line and the vertical lines combined.
I notice with the same rod that the balance requires you to hold the reel stem in between your ring and pinky finger like you demonstrate, instead of the middle and ring fingers like I’m used to. Does it bother you, or do you just get use to it?
"He got abducted by a fat guy" cracked me up 😂
What reel brand n size are you using on the tfo rod?

I just got the 6’6 do you think it’s good for single hook lures?
Definitely, it is

I may have to try that with the ultralight. But those fish are so strong
Yeah it’s definitely a challenge for sure..They’re super strong
You had me laughing at your description of your fall.😂 Those were some nice smallies, Steve. Good video 👍

Bruh I laughed at out at work when you got scared of your own bait lmaoooo

The “banana curse” might have been in affect that day. Good times
I was thinking the same thing 😂😂

I was two and I went with a TFO and I'm glad I did
@@BASSNGRASS I’m deciding between this rod and an st croix avid, but since watching your videos, I’m going towards the TFO

@@BASSNGRASS that's awesome! Thanks for the help. Going to see if I can snag one for discount on Black Friday. Love the channel!
My banana’s floatin!! What line were you running that the big one was able to snap?
JUST CURIOUS. WHAT REEL AND LINE ARE YOU USING? lOVE THE VIDEOS!
The rod that I'm using in this video is a TFO ultralight.. And the real is an okuma c10 I do believe
I believe that second fish you caught was a war mouth. A cross between a spot and a small mouth. He had a clear lateral line and the vertical lines combined.
I believe it was
Smallmouth. Haven’t tried for those yet. Got first white bass this week though. :).
That's awesome :)...Yeah they're a lot of fun if you can find them :)
Where you get that floating bag?
It’s a yeti bag
when you wiped the lens an ad popped up on the bottom screen lol
got one of those rods on order
Very good, Rod
Is that the TFO 6'6 2pc or 1pc?
It's the 2pc... I like to get it like that in case you break the tip... you can replace that section for like 20 something dollars
Thanks man! I appreciate the response. With light enough line do you think it could handle throwing 1/64oz and 1/80oz jigs?
Love your creek/river wading videos. Always look forward to your adventures
Hey man what reel is that?
What bag is this??
What lure is that? I have the same rod.

I got used to it pretty quick.. But it is kind of weird at first
Fishing by yourself in waders in water that high? Be really careful. Best to bring a buddy or don't wade in water that high.
funny video
