I recently saw your channel and as a runner I def incorporated unilateral training before but mainly body weight. Such as high reps for lunges and kickstand squats. I did a split squat max and my max was 130, just to see if there was any imbalances. This was on a smith machine so I was wondering if there is a difference if I did it with a barbell. I don’t have access to a barbell bc gym only has smith machines.
Excellent! I had back surgery ten months ago. You are solely responsible for strengthening my core. I follow ask your stuff, legs included. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Another outstanding video Adriell! I’m going to utilize these exercises that you had on your video to strengthen my legs. I’m probably going to have to have knee replacement surgery pretty soon, so these exercises could help me before I go in for surgery and I will continue using them after my surgery, you need to write a book., it would be a best seller,Your channel is fantastic. Thank you for posting this.
Great video! I like how you go in to detail how to execute certain parts of the movements correctly. I find this very helpful aswell as your other videos. They’ve really helped get it to using kettlebells, thanks 🙏🏼 keep up the good work! 👍🏼
Love your video. Very informative. Have you done/do you have a video for a follow along unilateral leg workout? I notice you have loads of video shorts working one leg at a time which I love. But would love to see a full video with your single leg routine to follow along with. Keep up the good work! Your videos are inspiring!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤❤❤❤
I added kickstand squats to my routine a few months back after seeing you pwrform them. They are great! I underestimated the challenge they offer, so i had to start with body weight for a few weeks.
I used to be a powerlifter. Then after 6 years of not training anymore I was just a fat guy. I've been getting into training again, but focusing much more on mobility and functional training and I'm loving it. It's a completely different feeling of stimulus and soreness and I can't believe I never used to incorporate this stuff before. I'm also really impressed with the development I'm noticing in my legs, even though that's honestly the least of my reasons for getting back into training.
Great video! I tried some KB Split squats last week and the front part of my quads (just above my knees) have been tender for a week now. Any recommendations to shift the focus of those from that area? Thanks for your content!
I’m a powerlifter taking time off from a back injury. Hard to walk right now. Just need time to heal. Gonna start using the exercises in your video for rehab. My core was turned out to be the problem: Not stabilized enough. Will the exercises you’re showing help give me a stronger core?
I get that everyday you train involves legs but I’m curious what a weeks split would look like with exercising everyday . Just curious if some days are more focus and pressing movements some days focused more on cardio etc
I also like you use high rep moderate weight vs low rep very heavy weight. For me its better for my joints and its safer to bail with if i do hit failure
Let me know which videos you would like to see more of

Have you made a video/short about your weekly routine yet? Since you make videos at the gym and at home I’m really interested in your split
Something about hybrid training with kettlebells? Eg callisthenics and kettlebells
Your top exercises for hamstrings and calves pls. ideally with free weights and kettlebells.
Functional training
You are the main reason I’ve been obsessed with building legs. I’ve been relentless.
Same here! It's addicting! It's leg day, every day whenever I hit the gym.
Frfr my legs are on fye and growing💯
and it's also functional and that's what appeals to me the most
Same here

The goblet squat definitely will, especially if you do it like he said with the weight a little bit away from your body.
Thank you for sharing this

What are the best types of shoes do you wear for this type of workout.
With the kickstand squat, is it best to distribute the weight mostly to the front leg or still maintain an equal distribution?
Do you have a legs only program for purchase on your site?
Training to failure, for every set, or by the last set?
QUESTION: Can you do the curtsy lunge and other split squats on a step to increase range of motion or is that a bad idea?
Just curious, which type of vivo shoes are you wearing?
Prob vivobarefoot
Old school ways aint always inferior to new technology
Gold ✨
Whats the benefit of being on your toes.
💪
Does carrying a 6 month old around a few hours a day count as unilateral
It does
What shoes are those bro?
Vivo barefoot shoes
Vivo has a lot of different shoes, do you know which specific ones these are?
If i go down with 2 dumbells i aint coming back up sir!
Start with one and if that's too tough start with none! Just get started!
Hey man, love your stuff. Any advice for tender knees ? And also, is it normal to get cracking noises when squatting or lunges?
Body weight exercises or do shorter ranges of motion
Mini band work also
You so good
0:24 I train the same way
What barefoot shoes are those? Trying to find a good pair, thank you
Those are Vivo's.
I've been using Xero shoes and I like them
What ikind of shoes are those ?
Vivobarefoot
is the intro meant to be silent?
Only some of it is. I thought the same at first. You have audio during important parts.
It’s cinema 🚬🎥
I don’t get the purpose of the kickstand squat. It feel good but it doesn’t make sense 😂
