In a traditional oven at home, you are just using the hot air to cook the pizza. But with a pizza steel, you are using both the heat from the steel and the hot air from the oven.
    Here is what i did:
*Pre-heat the pizza steel with the oven set at 375. (next time i will set oven to 400) for 35 minutes and next time i will preheat the steel for an hour.
*Put the homemade pizza onto the OG Pizza Steel for about 10 minutes.
Here is where you can get a Pizza Steel:

It probably would have been a good idea to show how you got the pizza into the oven via whatever pizza peel you used and also how you got it back out and the pizza peel that you used to do so.
I appreciate that you took the time to post a video but you didn't really show anything. 😞

Hi there. I appreciate the constructive criticism and I want to thank you for taking the time to leave this comment. I forget if I even had a pizza peel at the time of this video recording. I might have just slid it off of my wood cutting board. I totally forget. As for removing the pizza when it's done... they usually slide right off easily or you can use a large spatula to scoop it off. Thanks again for the comment. Have a great day!

I read my response and the way that I typed I was rather rude! I didn't actually read it before I posted and I apologize for that.
Thank you so very much for responding! I'm so green to the whole pizza steel thing and felt very intimidated reaching into the depths of hell heat wise to scoop the pizza out because I was afraid of it falling on the floor or burning me. Even more afraid of putting it in and envisioning dough getting all over the place.
I didn't mean to be so terse and rude with my verbiage. The written word often comes out in a way that it wasn't meant to be said and again, I apologize 😓
