    Took me back to my early working years. I remember being covered in more clay and mud than this video shows. We didn’t see the test applied? I remember waiting for the building inspector to check the pressure check. Ah. Nostalgia.

    Great video. Our practices here include casting a 70 - 100mm concrete blinding under the inspection chambers and corners for levelling or lay a 50mm concrete pavement tile. We usually cast part of the pipes in concrete every few meters to keep them from moving since the rest of the house sits on raft foundation. Nevertheless these comments carry a higher installation cost.

    Perfect job there , you got them pipes lovely and level , no need to go using a spirit level , just do it by eye , no messing around putting a fall on them pipes , cover it up quickly and don’t let anybody see it .

    Check the building regs, a rocker pipe is for when the pipe is not lintelled over.

    Why run the kitchen foul out the house into a gully? Why not a rest bend on the inside under the floor

    • @thegamechanger2058
      @thegamechanger2058 5 лет назад +1

      Daniel Friend the gully can be rodded which saves using another manhole

    • @handle1196
      @handle1196 2 года назад

      @@thegamechanger2058 if i install a downstairs bathroom toilet into an outside chamber via a rest bend, can i 45 into the foul pipe before the chamber with another 110mm rest bend from a shower 50mm adaptor or does the shower need to join the chamber on its own invert.

    • @martinbyrne6643

      That’s done away with , everything is level now , it’s much easier, putting a fall on pipes is a load of hassle.🥸

    The internals over cavity was wrong, 150 exposure before collar each side of cavity, according to specifications

    • @WavinCoUK
      @WavinCoUK  7 лет назад +1

      Hi Gary, thanks for your feedback. Do you mean the rocker pipe running through the cavity wall? If so, we can't see any issue with this as the rocker pipe has been correctly installed. Please do drop us a line if you have any other questions - marketing.uk@wavin.com

    90 deg rest bend? should be 92.5 deg... and on a 450mm base you can go 1200mm for rodable and upto 3000mm as long as you have a restricted entry cover but then it becomes non rodable. why am i watching this?

    • @sammyhollo2634
      @sammyhollo2634 4 года назад

      You got a point man, but for the smooth and recommendable slope or gradient 92.5° would be too much
