Black Teak wood is truly stunning! Its unique color and grain make each piece special, combining elegance with a natural feel. It’s not just a great choice for interiors, but also a symbol of durability and timeless value. Absolutely impressive!
Fantastic! This video really opened my eyes. Watching the process of sawing such a large piece of wood is fascinating. This video quality is outstanding. I'm excited to see more. Don't stop sharing this awesome content!
I once helped a guy on his wood lot with a Wood Miser. We cut white cedar and a load of hemlock. He explained to me that unless the log has sat one year for each inch, one better not cut the slices less than two inches thick. And the machine we used had a horizontal blade, which after the cut it was easier to move the slab of wood without the fear of it falling. And again, things go a lot easier when two people use cant hooks. One log we cut had a 25 1/2 inch cant by 14 ft long, hemlock. Heavy, nice wood grain, just can’t be used inside bc of hemlock poisoning.
You gotta give them credit for using just a 4 inch band saw I’m guessing. Most mills I worked in use 8 or 10 inch blades. And would use a band respawn after the first two cuts.
Is that black teak a hard wood to cut, or does it saw easily? The grain looks very fine but the guy pulling the slabs off the bandsaw must be very strong or it is not as dense as it looks. Very brave doing that work - please keep all your fingers and toes!
They need to take one slab and wet it down with water (and show us what it looks like wet) before ending the video! That is the only way to see the true beauty of wood!
A friend had gotten a Teak log (short one thought). Teak is VERY heavy. It took 2-3 of us to wrestle into his truck. Those boards must be impossibly heavy...
Thanks you,. We always replant, and the wood does not come from the forest but from local farms and is planted by the community themselves, not the government
I wonder with how big ancient trees were what would be made from a giant log? It would completely change the way you would do things if you had access to giant trees in abundance.
how old is that tree 400 years or something? Imagine a massive 2000 year old giant redwood, what could you make from a single log? Interesting thing if you see ancient structures they used to build megaliths or monoliths, we today have much smaller trees than what was available during the "ice age" which doesnt really make sense because the "ice age" was when there was mega fauna.@@Sawmill_IND

why does the video bear no resemblance to the thumbnail? I can't believe even sawmills are reverting to clickbait
it's an illustrative picture, I'm sorry if you don't like it. I will reconsider
@@Sawmill_IND yes pls change it, this video has nothing to do with thumbnail or your headline....it's just some guys cutting a log, nothing special.

Teak is hard a hard wood, that’s why the sawdust is so fine. That is a heavy duty band saw.

Beauty of the tree? Okay, but did they plant others or did they contain nature's predation without thinking about the consequences?
Thanks you,.

What do you use the smaller pieces for?
what minute part?
@@Sawmill_IND no the small shavings from when you start trimming the log

Есть древесина дороже, загуглите. Азиаты из-за бизнеса готовы все леса вырубить, бедным шимпанзе уже некуда податься.

I wonder with how big ancient trees were what would be made from a giant log? It would completely change the way you would do things if you had access to giant trees in abundance.
This is wood that was felled several years ago. At our place, teak wood like this is not only planted in the forest, but in people's yards.
