    One of my favorite breathing techniques is extended exhales. Just two minutes of deep breathing with longer exhales engages the vagus nerve, increases HRV, improves decision-making and helps regulate emotions. Enjoy and share with friends and family 🙏

    I only started following these breathing/ meditation exercises about 4 weeks ago and one thing i noticed is that some of them can help you identify certain issues / emotions which have been stuck and need to be addressed. I had been trying for many months to surpress a particular issue but one of the videos brought it to the surface. I needed to accept a particular situation in order to let go and move on. I scrolled through this channel and found exactly what sessions I needed and they have helped me to overcome the issue in a very short space of time. I am forever grateful 🙏

    Hi sandy, I discovered your videos in April when I decided I needed to change and heal. I’ve been struggling with depression and anxiety and the aftermath in my body in the form of IBS and dry eye disease. I noticed whenever I’m doing this particular breathing exercise my eyes naturally start releasing teardrops which has helped me treat my dry eye, also my IBS problem is going away , whenever I feel agitated I come back to this video and feel connected to myself again. Thank you so much for this, it’s been helping me more than all the medicine I’ve been taking this past year. I look forward to more of your videos , I will join your patron. You are a source of light in my time of darkness. Thank you 🙏

The coach constantly recommends breath-work a couple times a day, along with meditations. Or just any helpful affirmations that you’re inspired by.

    Thanks again dear Sandy. This time I have some questions: 1. why are we exhaling only half way and not fully before the breath retention? 2. I also experience that in this case it is much harder for me to hold back breathing in than with lungs fully emptied. Is this common or just my thing? 🫶

    • @BreatheWithSandy
      @BreatheWithSandy  9 месяцев назад +4

      A full complete exhale would take quite a lot of force to blow out the remaining air. In these videos I’m exhaling to a normal amount as opposed to forcefully blowing all air out until you’re completely empty. I practice the complete empty one on the recent « 10 minute energy Breathwork » where you’ll see me exhale completely. So you can have a reference of what I mean. I wouldn’t over think any of this..your body is wanting something else..follow those beautiful instincts 🙏🏼
