Sri Lanka went from me barely knowing about it to my top 3 favourite countries after a month there. The food, the people and the thousand things to see and do. This brought back lots of memories.
❤️🇱🇰
Haven't been to Sri Lanka since the 90s. I'm so freaking jealous. I was born in Sri Lanka but moved when I was 10. Went back in the 90s as a teen and haven't gone back. I need to go back since the civil war has ended years ago. Have a great time out there playa.
One of my favorite sci-fi authors, Arthur C Clarke, made his home in Sri Lanka and was there for the Boxing Day 2004 tsunami. I'd LOVE to visit there and try that incredible food.
I met him in a swimming club called Otters in the early 90s. He was just chilling there eating.
I also met prince Charles at the British council that same trip. Well king Charles now.
❤ Mink 🇹🇭🇨🇦. I’ve been to Sri Lanka once… I must go back! 😊

I saw this by chance this evening 6.15 pm 🇺🇸. Good on you man. You’re so positive about the island. Enjoy your time. SL needs tourists like you coming over and over again 😂😂.
That feeling when you found a place that makes your heart happy
Today is the starting day of Kandy Esala Perahara (biggest buddhist pageant)❤💐 0:39 Sri Lankans are the biggest sea food lovers cause our country is surrounded with the ocean🎉
I didn't expect the sudden shift to wilderness cooking. That man is adorable ngl. The satisfied head wiggle is just so cute.

Im thinking Why should I when I have the opportunity to live in a country like this. I just hope I find a good job. lol. Thank you lukas for coming back to Sri Lanka. Stay safe and safe travels.
Love your video! If you're in Colombo, definitely stop by Mint Ceylon. It’s run by three sisters who make beautiful, sustainable products from upcycled fabrics. Such a cool spot for unique finds!
Luke the real Sri Lankan food is very much tastier and healthy than what you're eating from all over the streets. Also when you eat egg roti eat it with chicken curry.
Nice i m srilanka good wok ❤❤❤
Amazing country and people
Welcome back again luke
No offense, but with 1.54M subscribers you would think you would have a pretty heathy travel budget and could make some new content every now and then. Seem's like all you have lately is recycled old video's in a different arrangements. It was great stuff the first time.
Just released a brand new Morocco series of 4 episodes. Hope you were able to catch them! More new content coming soon
Living with NATURE 👍😂 No chemicals. Clay pots, no gluten foods. 😅Ancient way of life. 😂🎉

Why you should eat fish gravy? The process of making fish oil is boiling and collecting floating oil on the surface.when you eat fish gravy you will have fish oil automatically..

Argh! Kola kanda. I thought I escaped that but my dad grew pennywort in his garden so I was force fed. I'm sure a lot of people like it but it's not my thing.

Why do you think you're not getting enough subscribers? Food vloggers like you gain subscribers quickly but in your case it's pretty stagnant for a long time...

💟💟🌷🇱🇰💞👍
How are the glasses washed if at all?
was that his ex in the video
Very old video
The food looks very calorie and fat dense with all the oil and coconut cream?
Actually very healthy and mostly vegetarian
Also ..looks delicious 😋
Don't forget we love to use pure coconut oil because it is one of healthy cooking oil forever!
There's two types of fat called Sis and Trans. Other countries use Trans which includes in butter and they are super unhealthy. They cause heart attacks. but we use pure coconut oil which gain from coconut trees. They are really healthy. It's like olive oil.❤
Three hours and 41 minutes! Edit it down please.
No thanks. Nor India. Have known people having bad experiences especially with cleanliness.
India???
😂All those things he said I have not seen anywhere is here in India.. Bro come to Mangalore in karnataka.. U will see more variety in only one small area of state than the entire Sri Lanka country.. Our food in one part of state is equal to entire country's food 😂😂
You people in India are using gallons of oil & same masala for every dish. Thats why almost all of ur food taste the same. All you do is shower them with same masala😂 You may think we have the same type of food in Sri Lanka but we dont. May be the looks of the food are similar but not the taste. Even the way we use spices are totally different than u Indians. It may be the same ingredients, veggies, meat but the way we use spices to bring out the flavors are totally different than u Indians. In Sri Lanka the spice game in cooking is far ahead than your masala in India.
Do u think sri lankan is offering only those foods?
Some indians always get triggered on youtube, when someone appreciate the beauty of Sri Lanka
@@prasad8053 Exactly😂
Most of the food tastes the same
In your shitty India perhaps not in Sri Lanka
Looks like ur an Indian😂😂😂
Well.. he came to Sri Lanka 3 times.. to enjoy the food, culture and beauty of Sri lanka. That is what matters.
