Hi mate , A quick Question- In Victoria, if let’s say I bought land in 2018 for 350 K however land is getting titled next month. Construction cost is 380 K so total 720K . Will I get first home buyer discount or it will look at current valuation of land as land might be somewhere around 440K now for 448 sqm so will I miss out on first home buyer 10K ?
I have been using my credit cards the best possible way. I got 2 and I got my credit score just in 800/1000. Is there any other to way to increase the credit score not related to credit cards? If I get a car loan for example, it will lower my score in the short term, but is Australia like the US that long term is better to have different types of credit options in your history? There, that variety helps because banks will know that you can manage different types of debts, but I don't know about Australia. Can you let me know how to increase it apart from using CC in the best possible way?
Do credit scores actually matter after about 700? US allows better loan products but 700 is easy to achieve but seems to get you pretty much anything as long as you have the serviceability.
