Idk why, but even though vocaloid is getting more popular because of project sekai, I noticed many of the players don't actually know what vocaloid is? It's kinda sad to be honest, like they still view Miku and other vocaloids as just some singing robot anime characters lol
@@erraticcat3887 yeah, as someone who had a long history of being a vocaloid fan prior to even finding out what project sekai is, that has always felt so surreal to me lol
I think Mothy is the best storyteller since, well ..... he has been constructing the same universe for 15 years now and it's legitimately insane But Hitoshizuku x Yama have some really cool stories, they just are short ones (bit the fact they can make some cool stories in the span of just a song regularly is quite impressive honestly)
@@sephikong8323(sorry, english is not my first language) i agree but i like more hitoshizuku x yama's style (melody & lyrics), and i think their concepts are awesome, like fashion x alice in wonderland or that song about peter pan (portrait of the pirate f or something like that). And my favorites "Seasonal feathers" and the song about sunflowers, they're so sad 😭 don't misunderstand my comment, Mothy is incredible, i'm just trying to give my personal opinion, i would express better in spanish anyway xd

We all agree to Mitchie’s tuning is so good. And RIP for Wowaka I really love how Neru try to express how teenager life really is in those songs. Love for All Vocaloid Producers!
can you include powapowa in the next part? he was so innovative for his time and i don't think he gets nearly enough credit to his name for his music and how it shaped this fandom and a lot of people in it. i think he really was a genius regarding composing. rip to this legend 💔
I'm so glad that mitchie M has inspiration in the brazilian musician Tom Jobim (UHUUU BRASIL 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷). When I met Vocaloid in 2015, many of the first vocaloid's I met was from Mitchie-M
wowaka and Hachi were the ones who really got me to stick with vocaloid. Hachi was my first introduction to vocaloid (didn't realize it was him until I realized that Yonezu and Hachi were the same person lol) and honestly I can say with full confidence that hitorie(wowaka's band) is my favorite band and has completely changed my life.
"go faster, make me climax already!" Why would anyone think Rin _or_ Len would be into some freak ass shit like that😭 great installation of the (un)helpful vocaloid guide series honestly
The fact that a new WOWAKA song will be released in January... His band announced a new album, which will feature a currently unreleased wowaka song. It is unclear for now if it's Vocaloid or not, but I am still exited. And that only 5 days after an official Vocalid movie. Man, I love 2025 already.
When I play Project sekai or Project diva I always do my best to remember the name of the song creator out of respect, but it's so nice to find out more about them as people, not just names. A very useful video!!
I got the warm fuzzies watching this! Vocaloid was a huge part of music for me when I was growing up and it kinda just hit home to see all these producers and familiar songs. Hope this gives people (esp new fans) a better idea of vocaloid history and how this fandom has evolved. Thanks for making this!
this is legitimately really helpful and fun to watch! if you're taking suggestions for more producers, I'd love to see harumakigohan, kuragep, syudou, jin, inabakumori, jin, and/mikitop :) great job on the video as always!
I love these guides. There are two things that I still want to find out. What's under PinocchioP's hat and how Mitchie M's inspiration is so different from the songs he produces. What are the names of the last three songs?
Mitchie M’s songs weren’t shown by title but they are: 1. Viva Happy (2013) 2. Ooedo Julianight (2017) 3. Burenai ai De (2014) 4. Ai Dee (2012) 5. Freely Tomorrow (2011)
Loved the video as always; also for anyone else curious, Deco was the producer behind the Gumi song 'Coward Montblanc' (his first song with her) & 'Mozaik Role' (one of the few vocaloid songs to reach 10,000,000 views on NicoNico)
Recommendation for the next time : - Honeyworks - Samfree - Masa works design - Maretu - Utsu-P - Kira - Steampianist - Crusher-P - Owata-P Thank you a lot, I love your videos!!
love how, while a lot of producers dabble in "content warning" lyrics, kikuo is still the one who gets the special warning mention /gen I enjoy kikuo like any other, but hachi is my top fave/most listened to (closely followed by mothy)
This is such a cool concept! Can't imagine the amount of investigation going behind the scenes for every artist. Would love to see Utsu-P and MARETU for part two, they're my favorite producers.

wowaka's death is still so shocking and hard to process to me, he was one of the first celebrities/people I genuinely looked up to pass away. I still wonder what kinds of music he would have went on to make if he was still around.... Rest in Peace
for part 2 I would include: kemu, cosmo, kira, balloon, nuyuri/nulut, ghost, nayutalien, as well as samfree and shiinamota (may both rest in peace) you could also make one part dedicated to voca-p who decided to team up with a professional singer to form a duo: ayase/yoasobi, n-buna/yorushika, pusu/tsuyu, misumi/dustcell
Honestly as someone who's kind of flirted around the edges of actual Vocaloid Fandom, I found this both incredibly enjoyable and informative! Thanks for making :3

You've gotta do hitoshizukuxyama! Their storytelling is unparalelled and its soooo good. Mothy too!
I think Mothy is the best storyteller since, well ..... he has been constructing the same universe for 15 years now and it's legitimately insane
But Hitoshizuku x Yama have some really cool stories, they just are short ones (bit the fact they can make some cool stories in the span of just a song regularly is quite impressive honestly)
i think ppl need to talk more about hitoshizuku x yama x suzunosuke, they're so underrated ( •᷄⌓•᷅ )
I am a Kikuo fanatic and I had NO IDEA journal of my forgotten fantasies was his first song! It holds up so well compared to others, I listened to it today actually!
same me too 😏
We all agree to Mitchie’s tuning is so good.
And RIP for Wowaka
I really love how Neru try to express how teenager life really is in those songs.
Kenshi Yonezu is literally the main character we are all background extras in his world 🫶
If you ever do another of these please include wonderful opportunity. One of my favourite producers
wowaka and Hachi were the ones who really got me to stick with vocaloid. Hachi was my first introduction to vocaloid (didn't realize it was him until I realized that Yonezu and Hachi were the same person lol) and honestly I can say with full confidence that hitorie(wowaka's band) is my favorite band and has completely changed my life.
"go faster, make me climax already!"
Why would anyone think Rin _or_ Len would be into some freak ass shit like that😭
great installation of the (un)helpful vocaloid guide series honestly
Thanks for making this!
i'll be waiting for utsu-p 👀
real 🙏🏽
this is legitimately really helpful and fun to watch! if you're taking suggestions for more producers, I'd love to see harumakigohan, kuragep, syudou, jin, inabakumori, jin, and/mikitop :) great job on the video as always!
yo just wanted to let you know you have great taste that is all thank you
Ok but let's take a moment and appreciate the fact that Neru have a pet hedgehog I didn't knew that
Wowaka: depression love story
Giga-p: horny asf
Circus-p: im in your wall
Kikuo: child abuse song 😂
Neru: this child has anxiety, let's make it epic
I love these guides. There are two things that I still want to find out. What's under PinocchioP's hat and how Mitchie M's inspiration is so different from the songs he produces. What are the names of the last three songs?
Last 3 songs: Burenai aide, Ai-dee (pronounced ID), Freely Tomorrow
@@tomrio9152 Thank you! :)
LMAO THE FIRST ONE IS SO TRUE..
Mitchie M’s songs weren’t shown by title but they are:
1. Viva Happy (2013)
2. Ooedo Julianight (2017)
3. Burenai ai De (2014)
4. Ai Dee (2012)
5. Freely Tomorrow (2011)
i felt like i was watching a kpop guide but with producers who made most of the vocaloid songs i grew up thank you😭
Loved the video as always; also for anyone else curious, Deco was the producer behind the Gumi song 'Coward Montblanc' (his first song with her) & 'Mozaik Role' (one of the few vocaloid songs to reach 10,000,000 views on NicoNico)
Dont forget One of the Kenshi Yonazu song is literally become the most-viewed JPOP Mv in RUclips
Recommendation for the next time :
- Honeyworks
- Samfree
- Masa works design
- Maretu
- Utsu-P
- Kira
- Steampianist
- Crusher-P
- Owata-P
Thank you a lot, I love your videos!!
love how, while a lot of producers dabble in "content warning" lyrics, kikuo is still the one who gets the special warning mention /gen
I enjoy kikuo like any other, but hachi is my top fave/most listened to (closely followed by mothy)
This is such a cool concept! Can't imagine the amount of investigation going behind the scenes for every artist.
Would love to see Utsu-P and MARETU for part two, they're my favorite producers.
Fun fact: Hachi wrote the song “KICKBACK” the opening to chainsaw man!
WOAH I had no clue hachi was Kenshi Yonezu! That's so cool!!
As a neru stan, thank you for letting me know he has a hedgehog, now i like him even more.
i didn't expect a vocaloid producer have inspiration in tom jobim
Banger vid, waiting for more. Hope to see people like Kanzaki Iori, Yuyoyuppe, UtsuP and the more I think about it the more I relize how long this series could be. Can’t wait to for the next one!
YESS UTSUP
YES
YESSSS!! AMAZING TASTE!!!
This is amazing!!! So glad to see producers getting the recognition they deserve❤️ Some producers I personally enjoy and would like to see in a sequel are Wonderful Opportunity, Hitoshizuku x Yamasankakkei, Yuugou-P, 3, Ann-MeltsP, DATEKEN, GHOST, Dixie flatline, MOTHY, KIRA, Halyosy, Kasamura Toota, Junky, Kanzaki Iori, *Luna, Kurosawa Madoka, Mayuko, Nyanyanyanya, Maubox, Veran Kuriensu, Patirchev, Nem, Owata-P, and Ahirugunsou-P :3
Kairiki Bears songs will always have my heart
Why you hurt me seeing wowaka? He was so cool whenever I listen to his music. Two faced lovers was my first favorite song since i was smol. Now I cri seeing this thumbnail. *cri*
KENSHI YONEZU IS A VOCALOID PRODUCER, I WOULD NEVER EXPECT THAT
wowaka's death is still so shocking and hard to process to me, he was one of the first celebrities/people I genuinely looked up to pass away. I still wonder what kinds of music he would have went on to make if he was still around.... Rest in Peace
for part 2 I would include: kemu, cosmo, kira, balloon, nuyuri/nulut, ghost, nayutalien, as well as samfree and shiinamota (may both rest in peace)
you could also make one part dedicated to voca-p who decided to team up with a professional singer to form a duo: ayase/yoasobi, n-buna/yorushika, pusu/tsuyu, misumi/dustcell
Honestly as someone who's kind of flirted around the edges of actual Vocaloid Fandom, I found this both incredibly enjoyable and informative! Thanks for making :3
You are the only person keeping this fandom alive and i love u for that 🥺❤😭
neru's ecchi tweets in question:
great video! I would like to suggest Kemu, Owata-p and MASA works DESIGN for part 2!!
So glad to see ever producer has they're own type of tunning, type of songs, etc. Sad that talented producers like Wowaka and Samfree past away...
i knew i recognized kenshi yonezu since he sang kickback!! hes so cool
Hold on hold on hold on otome dissection came out in 2019?? I swear I was seeing it in my youtube recommendations in like 2016 God that's crazy
the legend has returned
i DONT KNOW IF I SHOULD BE AFRAID OR PROUD THAT I KNEW ALL OF THESE PRODUCERS AND THEIR SONGS....
Lmao both ig
It's a problem when you know about 300 songs and randomly one or two of them sounds during every video
Why r u even afraid about it
As a Pop music lover, Mitchie M is my favorite Vocaloid producer. I'm also getting into Kairiki Bear lately.
Tbh Deco*27 have too much popular song that it's hard to choose what to insert there
And rest in peace wowaka-san, thank you for all those amazing song 🙏
wait WHAT?? YONEZU KENSHI IS HACHI??
bro yonezu kenshi was like the biggest jpop singer in 2020, all of my friends (i live in japan) and I would sing his songs like "lemon" holy shit
also, maybe add syudous for pt II? idk theyre pretty big and actually was the songwriter for japan's most popular song at one point, ussewa
@lemonssssssss4 he also dissed hachi's suna no wakusei in jackpot sad girl lol
5:30 the transition to ghost rule makes these songs look so mashup-able
You don't know how long I've been waiting for this video
Days when vocaloid fans had to manually search and dig deep into content on their own and through reading comments :')
@@mama-miadayo oh, my God, that's literally so true
If wowaka was still alive today we would have flying cars
First of all RIP Wowaka. We will miss you
Second, Please add LamazeP on part 2. Triple Baka, Popipo and Love Song are just amazing songs from him
FACTS also have you listened to his newer songs? He’s still active on his RUclips channel and the songs are really good!
@@MidnightTheKitten You bet that I still listen to his songs. His newer songs are just amazing comfort songs for my love of Vocaloid.
@@MidnightTheKitten You can hear LamazeP's own real voice singing if you search on RUclips for THIS video title:
🍓 苺の花に幸福を - sexy male singer pretend by LamazeP? 【subs: English/Romaji】 Ichigo no Hana ni Koufuku wo
This is a great video, love to see my fave pinocchio-p being hyped up by so many people. For the next video, I'd like to suggest Wada Takeaki (KurageP), Hitoshizuku x Yama, and kinoshita!
This was amazing! In the next part could you please include mothy? Along with many of the producers on this list, he’s one of my favorites and has been in the vocaloid community since like 2007 or 2008.
never knew the dude who made matryoshka is also the guy ive been listening to sing chainsaw man's op1 for months now!! it gave me so much serotonin when i figured it out!
edit now that i've watched the whole video: if you're looking for suggestions i'd love to see part 2 containing MARETU or GHOST! they've been my favourite producers for years now!
lol why does giga-p look funny in his photoshoot in 2:43
This was actually more helpful than (un)helpful lol. I've been a fan of vocaloid for years and I only know a bit about the producers but I never took the time to fully research them, and because of this video I have learned to appreciate them more so thank you for making this cool video. I hope this reaches to other fans and maybe even new fans! ♥
dasu, kikuo, wowoka, and GigaP are def of my fav producers 💖
i am brazilian and i never would thought that mitchie m had inspiration from tom jobim, proud of my country's music!
ppl need to listen to more wonderful opportunity their recent stuff is so underrated AND IM DYING TO HAVE MORE PEOPLE TO TALK ABOUT IT WITH
Many things in here made my jaw drop, but as a brazilian knowing that one of the main inspirations of Mitchie M is freaking TOM JOBIM our big master, lord of all the good music of Brazil, made me extremely proud of my country culture and crazy to know he know us!!!! AAaAaaaAAAaAAahHhHhhHhHhhHhHHhh
Thanks for this, firstly that before knowing your channel i nearly carred of who were the producers, but nowadays i know them and i love and search for almost everyone that i listen, and for the goodies that i will for sure add to my playlist , many songs in here (mainly the ones that were the first songs) i didn't knew that existed.
Kikuo, are you okay man.
RIP Wowaka, I was at the Paris Miku Expo of 2020, I remember crying during his tribute.
I had no idea Mitchie looked up to Tom Jobim, it warms my heart to know one of my fav. producers appreciates some good ol' Bossa Nova.
Rest in peace, Wowaka. I'll forever remember you and how your songs mean to me.
As for the rest, I'm so glad I've at least listened to these producers at least once.
If you take suggestions, these are my personal favorites: mothy aka akuno-p, and Yuyoyuppe (ゆよゆっペ)
ngl i teared up at wowaka's. he is honestly a genius gone too soon...
i hope to see OSTER project and mothy up there
Fun fact for people scrolling down here: Circus is a VTuber and streams on Twitch and RUclips! He also tunes live on stream sometimes
I have been listening to Vocaloid since I was in elementary and not a lot knew them.
Thank you for putting these producers on spotlight 💛
Don't forget Mothy 🥲 his songs are a literal masterpiece and tell a story!!
girl you had the great opportunity to recreate the Weezer cover on the thumbnail 😭
Rip Wowaka-san 🕊️
Proud to have known all the songs and producers here, in my early days of listening to Vocaloid music I really didn't pay much attention to what producers made the music but nowadays with such variation out there I've begun to pay more and more attention to them
I simply need to kiss Giga. Or his music. Jesus, this man's beatwork is insane. How does he even do this. Unsurprisingly, I also am a huge Reol fan, but who isn't.
