Stumbled across your video as a blues fan, I actually really liked your breakdown of the game. Most fan channels berate the opposition stating they were poor etc. We had a make shift back line, at a ground we rarely come away with anything from. Hull really should have burried the game in the first half, although the goal was handball... Good luck in the pursuiit of promotion. KRO.

Unfortunately your Granddads prediction was bang on. A game we dominated with possession of the ball and prolific passing but ultimately no fire in front of the goal. There often seemed to be far more emphasis on keeping hold of the ball than there was on actually doing something with it and I for one found that disappointing.We should have created so much more and the chances we did get were squandered. Birmingham couldn't get near us for so much of the game yet when they did get the ball they knew where to run and how to attack and it was obvious that at some stage they would get a goal. I think we have to look on this game as another one where we threw two points away. I know you said it was rude to say the game was boring so lets just say it was largely uneventful. It might have helped if we had started the game with a recognised striker on the pitch. That tactic the manager regularly employs is one I find difficult to comprehend. You have to have someone capable of poaching a goal from a half chance or it is very difficult to gain the edge in a game of often fine margins. Clubs dont spend tens of millions on strikers for no reason so even at our level it makes no sense to attempt to win a game with no striker at all. Blues fan that was at the game and would say you need a striker. Play good approach football then when the goal is there nobody seems able to hit the target. Draw fair I felt with very poor officials ie hand ball and hall fouled when through in goal and nothing given. Well done mate for the level views. Kro

As for blues we’re still very much in a transition and now we’ve not got Mowbray the main man to steer us we’ve been wobbled a bit. I can’t say we’re in a false position because we are where we are but had we not suffered the free fall of Rooneys tactical ineptness I really think we’d be one the mid table teams who could looking towards being a massive play outsider rather than squeaky bum time relegation fodder again. We’re not a bad team but it’s hard to play the football you want to when the nerves are jangling. Good luck and would love to see you lot win the play offs. Glad philogene didn’t score cos he’ll always be tainted as a dirty villa bas7ard by us. Would rather the handball than that.
Incredibly deflating result. All our own fault and it feels like a huge reality check to the players and manager. Maybe stop trying to score the perfect goal!
