Sky Top Shop - Bridgeport mill - Erickson / Kennametal Quick Change 30 (QC30) spindle

Erickson / Kennametal Quick Change 30 (QC30) spindle designed for the Bridgeport mill. This spindle is a drop-in replacement for the original R8 spindle. QC30 is ‘similar’ to NMTB30, however no drawbar is utilized. All CQ30 tool holders will fit and function properly, and most NMTB30 holders will fit and function, depending on the locking collar dimensions. Adding a drawbar would ensure All NMTB30 tool holders would fit and function.

from nmtb 40 to nmtb 40
my application is very high because it is modified and not easy to go all the way up there to swap tool) Looking for master quick changer)

Sorry I don't do any social media. I like mine too. I wont to tall about the run out when you reinsert a collet 180 degrees.

Thank you for the video as well as the Facebook contact info, I just acquired a bridgeport series 1 cnc mill with this spindle and I knew it was a 30 taper tooling but had no idea which or how it worked.
