I think Vicki & Gopher would have made a great couple (at least after season 5 when she was 16). They had a real connection that would have reinvigorated the show if it had been explored. She was a beautiful young woman who loved him very much, and he obviously felt the same way (but was compelled to hide his feelings). Such relationships weren't any big deal back in the 80's (before all this "woke" crap).

I swear I just saw an episode (s03e19) where Gopher talks about taking a very young Vicki to a "romantic hotel" or something of the sort to her dad and then he starts comically chases Gopher around for hitting on his daughter.
