I never forgot this love story. I wish they hadn’t killed him off but , devised something else that would cause them to eventually return to each other.
Actually Julie in the series knew two big romances which counted a lot for her : Jack a widowed man who unfortunately got married because Julie didn't accept his proposal and he stopped hoping for her and Tony later..she had other flirts on the boat but these 2 men really counted!
They still stayed in tough till he died. It was explained a later 2 part episodes when Captain Stubing got engaged then broke up with a old girlfriend daughter in Australia
My favorite Love Boat episode along with episode one and two season six which continues Tony and Julie's love story.HOpe season 6 will be released on DVD.
And then like a year later they all return to the zoo & she re-lives the romance & she hangs out some with his brother. So what was he dying of & was it his brother who was the doctor who discovered it. Did they meet in the same original episode?
Extremely sad episode, at the church before he enters his Brother needed to talk to him urgently. Julie looks radiant as she walk to him. Tony left her at the altar. Later on the plane the Captain gives her a letter from Tony explaining he was dying. I remember crying my eyes out.i never understood the writers of this one. I think I remember a lot of people write in to convey their sadness for her.
I think he couldn’t marry Julie because he had a health issue. He was dying and couldn’t tell her. So he did the next thing left her @ the altar. It was wrong but I probably would have done the same thing
@@thejimmy6533 Tony didn't find out that he was dying until right before Julie was to walk down the aisle. His brother, David (who was a doctor) alerted him to the situation.
