- In an episode of The New Love Boat it was revealed that Julie and Doc had always been in love with each other. But that reveal was a long time coming.

So let me start by saying,....hello.
Each had had busted relationships and broken hearts, so wanted to be sure with THIS time. Lucky guy.
Should've included the "reveal" in The Next Wave.
I didn't have access to that clip until over a year after I I made this video or I absolutely would have included it.
I have been looking for that episode and I can’t find it anywhere 😭
What I'm really wondering is did the producers of The Love Boat all throughout the series intend to reveal one day that Doc and Julie have always been in love with each other and they were saving that reveal for The New Love Boat show or was this reveal just an afterthought? I want to believe that throughout the series, that all the times you see them walking together and talking and everything between them shown in this video that the producers were actually implying all along that they were in love with each other but does anyone know?
From all the scenes in this video of them and the way Doc especially puts his arms around Julie and the way he touches her face and goes in her cabin, to me it's so obvious he's in love with her. Julie looks at him too, even though she's not nearly as obvious as Doc but I know if I were Julie, by the 3rd season I would have to inform him. I couldn't keep how I feel from Doc if it were me. And I do wish we saw them having a very passionate kiss like Doc had with some of those other women he kissed. I wish in that reveal episode of The New Love Boat that they kissed.
Yes, I've always been attracted to Doc and at least by the 3rd season if I were Julie, I would have to tell him. I couldn't keep that from him. And I do wish we saw them together very passionately and romantically after they reveal their feelings, even if just one episode. Had a real kiss.
