Most people talked about saving but young people must understand that saving is not enough. It's a good start, but given the way the economy is going, you have to do better. Investing that saved money is a must and diversifying your investments so you have multiple streams is key. Of course, you have to be well informed on where you put your money or better still, get a pro to handle it for you (that way, you save time and minimize risks). My worse mistake: Not researching and then buying into bitcoin in 2009. Best decision: Buying my house back in 2013 (its more than doubled in value already). Advice to my younger self: INVEST IN BITCOIN IN 2009 or SHIBA INU coin in August 2020.
Pretty easy y’all get the highest paying job you can. Live at home if you can and invest money to the maximum contribution your company allows for 401k. The remaining money you get into your bank account multiply that by 30% and that is your spendings for the month if you can go lower then that’s even better. Take the 70% of that money and dump it into etfs like voo or sp500 and never look or touch that stock account. Then when there’s is a good time to invest in a house say a market crash for a house then you pull fro: your stock account and get a down payment on the house. Slowly pay that off and bam you’ll be a millionaire. Hardest part is getting that first decent job and staying focused on your end goal of money saving. Don’t get tempted by seeing all your friend buy all these expensive trips, cars, clubbing every weekend, concerts.
@@VincentChan, yes. My base amount to save was always $100 each week. That comes to $400 each month. It wasn't easy though. You have to really watch your expenses. $400 should be the starting amount. Anything you can do after that is gravy. I budget $300 a month cash for myself and I don't buy more than I need. That's the key. I budget enough so there's left over after what I use for work. Everything else goes into a high yield savings account.

Good job 👍 Vincent! I really enjoyed it, it is so real. I visited New York Central Park as well.
Great content. Not easy to approach so many people on the street (especially in 100 degree heat).
Lol "whats your name and how old are you?" 😆 ... Didn't expect that lead with the lady
This was great and refreshing; also the rejections are refreshing lol!!
hahaha i got SOOO many rejections that it could be its own 20 minute video. to be fair this was filmed during a record heat wave in NYC so I understand why people wouldn't want to talk to a stanger with a microphone haha
Great advice from everyone. I wish I had started investing and saving much sooner but I'm on a good path now.
Boooo to the guy who didn't want to be on RUclips.
hahah yay im glad you on a good path now. when did you start to realize the importance of investing?
I understand the guy who didn’t want to be on RUclips. Some people just doesn’t want to be shown in videos/online. There can be some terrible consequences in their lifestyle. Other than that, I agree that everyone who answered had great advice!
My worse mistake: Not researching and then buying into bitcoin in 2009. Best decision: Buying my house back in 2013 (its more than doubled in value already). Advice to my younger self: INVEST IN BITCOIN IN 2009 or SHIBA INU coin in August 2020.
That second dude... I needed that. I'm currently growing my portfolio and I need to be patient about it
Love these videos, especially money making ideas

This must have been sooo hard for you! As you said before, you are an introvert - I’m glad you made this this video!

Patrick saying he was midwestern just made so much sense😂
How did I miss this notification?! Great video man. My inner introvert is quaking at the thought of making a video like this
Great interviewing Vincent! Good info to learn from.
I enjoyed this video! Are you from NYC also? I really enjoy hearing from New Yorkers!
We need a part 2
Cool video mate
this video was very entertaining! And you can see that finances are very personal
Great video!! I too, believe that it's best to save as much as you can. I save twice the amount I budget for myself each month.
Woah that’s amazing! Any tips or advice on how you achieve this?
@@VincentChan, yes. My base amount to save was always $100 each week. That comes to $400 each month. It wasn't easy though. You have to really watch your expenses. $400 should be the starting amount. Anything you can do after that is gravy. I budget $300 a month cash for myself and I don't buy more than I need. That's the key. I budget enough so there's left over after what I use for work. Everything else goes into a high yield savings account.
it's lovely being able to learn from others' mistakes. The application of those lessons is another issue!
Creative director earning 200k from skills that could be self taught in a year?
Loved this vid, thanks Vincent!

I learn something. Thank u!
Why do you and Minority mindset both have market briefs...?
This was one of your best videos by far. I have made so many mistakes with money . A friend of my always said save save save your money .

Saving money is the key
One of many keys :) which person did you learn the most from?
The first person you interviewed especially when he said saving money from every paycheck. I think it's so important too.
Why are people lining up to grab bull balls?
