I think women need to sue whoever refers to women in a manner that denies their true identity. I think it’s defamation of character to call a woman ‘a person with a cervix’ or ‘Someone who menstruates.’ Have you noticed that this is all against women? Russell Quirk, this is not a police matter surely, when did police start issuing penalty notices for a civil dispute ? You have paid a fee for this journey, you are not being dishonest and it sounds like a genuine mistake and not a dishonest act. You have provided your details, where is the dishonesty here ? The sensible thing would have been for the train conductor to make you pay the 40 pound difference, not make you pay the full 120 pounds, if you had done so the total cost would be 200 quid, and that is not right. They are quite capable of doing this are they not ? Sounds like overkill here involving the police. This is for the train company to resolve.

The rules and restaurant on tickets on that route are properly displayed and you were at fault for boarding the wrong train. No amount of grandstanding on TV absolves you of your culpability… pay up!

Not sticking up for multi-millionaire and human rights expert G. Lineker by any means, but can't you have an opinion without standing for parliament...Most of the mp's in parliament..that's all they are good for is 'having an opinion' and collecting their mullah at the end of the month..l also feel so proud that so many of my countrymen, announcers, ex football players, bloggers etc only went across to qatar to raise awareness of the human rights issues..

if 90% of the time Mike's candidate gets picked as a winner ( by him ), then what is the point of watching. I might as well watched it on YT the next day and go straight to the end.

To all those who scoff at Rishi and J. Hunt....get real. They don't posture and flex their flabby muscles, they deliver. Look at the economy recovering, the FTSE recovering and wait till next week. The Labour party are obviously hopeless. Don't assume they are going to win the next GE.
