- The goal of this Standard Hearthstone Control Warlock OTK combo deck is to use Wheel of DEATH combined with Tony King of Piracy! We do this by playing Wheel of Death and refilling our deck. Then, we win 5 turns later! Super fun meme deck! Good luck!

How difficult this might be, I don't like those cards who just end the game. I guess I'm nostalgic of a time where the win condition was putting a big board then the opponent still could react if he kept the right cards
@@nathankeunen9572 It's almost like there is 5 turns to do something and people CAN react if they keep the right cards, like Reno. But I might have read it wrongly.
@@rafaelabdab1504 Reno doesn't do anything against it, it's like Mech'thun. Like I just said, IDC if the card is strong or hard to achieve, I just don't like cards that just end the game
And I don't like this type of game where you have 5 turns to make as much face damage as possible then it's over, it's like facing quest mage or any druid Otk deck

If you have frostlord bonewhisper die first you can play wheel without losing any tempo because the first card each turn is free! Great strat

would that 3 mana 1/5 that doubles your end of turn effects work with the Wheel of Death in the same way it does Bonelord's 3 lose clock?

Yes. In one of Mark's videos He tied because Bonelord Frostwhisper effect triggered twice by Drakkari :_)

Since the tick down happens at the end of the turn, it should be considered an End of Turn effect much like Bonerlord's effect.
Drakari used to use two turns of the objective spells at first but it was patched since, I wouldn't be surprised if the interaction with the new spell is weird

In the first match hero power first to enable finale didn't make sense... better to play tony first and then use hero power... you draw same 1 card but don't take 2 fatigue

I'm now expecting some sort of *there will be no five turns!* combo where you just run this in a sludge deck and fill your deck with a bunch of sludge to destroy all at once.
Already possible for cheaper with Steam Cleaner, but it would be just like Mark to do it with Wheel as a show of force

If you played the wheel and had the Lord of Opera card in your hand, then you would have a 15 15 life-steel taunt to protect you for the 5 turns that you don't have a deck and it would cost zero, since you don’t have any cards in your deck
can you wheel of death and swap decks to give your opponent an empty deck?

Honestly once optimized, I think Wheel of Death is gonna be broken. There's so many tools available to make destroying your deck actually advantageous for Warlock.
and killing someone in 5 turns can be hard if it's already turn 8, or if the mana cost got mega reduced

Yeah, like old Meca Cthun could be considered an insta win, and even that today is soooo bad , that recent horseman card was bad as well, other than maybe that hunter deck with kaboom but even that is very niche.

I don't see this card as being ever meta maybe in some hard control warlock but honestly 5 turns is a struggle to survive. Especially playing an 8 mana, do nothing
Looks like a semi-lame card design to me, it would be okay as a quest reward or maybe if it had some drawback (building a deck around it is not a drawback)

It's kind of a lame card because it's not a particularly interesting win condition it's just "Stall out for 5 turns"
It does have a drawback though, in fact it has 2. It's 8 mana do nothing (Literally nothing, not even putting stats on the board) and it destroys your entire deck.
While there are ways to mitigate the deck destruction (Via shuffling cards into your deck, using Tony to get a copy of the opponents deck, various cards in Wild like Kazakusan, Elysiana and Faelin that can put cards into your deck) it's still you having to play around the drawback of deleting your own deck.
Isn't playing 8 mana do nothing enough of a drawback? People could stop it with the rank-50 comments.

I dont agree that a minority of players should get early access. It ruins the hype of day 1 and takes the fun out of deckbuikding for everyone else. I will not be watching these theorycrafting videos and I suggest everyone else boycotts with me.
