So the way it works is that The Azerite Snake gives the enemy hero a - 7 Health enchantment that is re-applied when their Health is set to a specific amount, it works the same way with Amara.
Before even watching, I've known of this "bug" since Azerite Snake came out. My friend OTK'd himself by playing Alexstraza after I had him below 15 health with Snake
Same to me. This happened in a game a few moments ago and I was like "Wait, am I stupid or what? What just happened?". So I came to RUclips to see if it was actually a bug. Glad to know that was what I was thinking it was. Sad to know that's still in the game. And sad to know, too, that are players abusing of it. Almost a month passed away and that shit is still in the game.
This happened to me and i wanted to call my local hearthstone lawyer. It says "set remaining health to 15" it should override the snakes debuff. I say!
Because the reduction takes place before taking the Snake health Debuff Into Account. So when it reduces by 15. It does so Assuming your Max health was 30. 😅😅
Yes, "Set hp to 15" means "Set hp to 0 and win the game because Blizzard does not have the funds to have a functioning game" - didn't you read the card?
Yes but definitely WAY less consistent than it already is, given Mark's deck list. You could make it work for sure, but it's not like it would be anywhere near competitive. Best to just stick to Wild where you see crazy lists like this anyways
So i guess its not a bug but rather a missing interaction, seems like instead of a code that set hero hp to 15, its something like: CurrentHP=maxHP + adjustHP = 15 so adjustHP = 15-maxhp with adjust hp number can be negative and maxhp is always 30 unless affected by 2 other leggos that adjust maxhp, and adjust hp also includes lossHp
Secrets? Try 12X(or more???) bombs in your deck from fucking highlander warrior, Ill take all the food I can get right now... And this deck STILL hardly beats warrior!
I'm so freaking confused how it's work. I already read some comment... can someone explain more? So If they play renethal, it mean 40(current health) / 40(max health) u play 4 snake = 40 (current health) / 40-28 (max health) now 40(current health) / 12(current health) so alex does SET THE REMAINING HEALTH TO 15 and result = 15(current health) / 12(max health)?????? so if anyone figure it out clearly pls tell me
The bug is the enchantment from the snake applying when other things set hp. So Alex sets someone's hp to 15 and the snake is like, not yet buddy didn't you forget something, I took 7 from that so the hp becomes 8 instead of 15. Do it with three snakes and the hp is -6 which max HP can't be so it's locked at zero and the player loses the game.
snakes dont do any damage, just puts to the max-hp a "-7" tag. for example from 15/30 to 15/30-7 (curent-hp/max-hp). thats why this glitch works. alex triggers those "-7" tags after setting the current-hp to 15 (apparently).
When you're not enjoying playing, we don't enjoy watching you play. I think it may be time to hunt down a new game that you DO enjoy the moment-to-moment gameplay of. I miss happy Mark!
I was playing with this deck and it was killing them with the Alexstrasza play. However, it looks like Blizzard fixed this as my last two games it set their health to 15, regardless of how many Azerite Snake I played.
There's "Fun to play against control decks" and there's cancer decks that are infuriating to play against. Things like countering all your cards or taking infinite turns aren't fun to play against because they bypass the whole "You get to play" part of the game (Alongside things like turbo OTK's) Of course, a thing to remember is that a majority of people play aggro decks because they're cheap and/or fast. Which doesn't have a particularly fun match up into control (It's a matter of "Did the control player draw an answer?" to decide who wins the game) When it's Midrange vs Control or Control mirrors then it can be quite fun as there's back and forth with emphasis on resource usage and mind games, again so long as there isn't a toxic control deck being played.
@@tarille1043 True, as a control player, I like to play against other control. I hate playing against aggro, whether I win or lose is not important, the important is having fun and play against each other, not the opponent just going face to kill you asap, that's just so boring and stupid.
I think a lot of players play Hearthstone with limited time and that's a real challenge if you load up an aggressive midrange deck and it takes 30 minutes. That's very different to going to a card shop for Thursday night Magic.
I don't think this is a bug. Alex sets HP to 15 max, not 15 total. Snake says hp max is now -7 per activation. Perfectly reasonable outcome that 15 max -21 is game over
Im not surprised about this combo the reason why the opponent dies it's because it doesn't have the health it requires to go back to 15 so any extra health is converded in to damage. I saw this combo done on WTF moments two days ago.
That's wrong, it's not how it works. When you play Alex when max health is below 15, it sets max health to 15. Then the snake gives an aura that gets reapplied after Alex changes the max health, so with 3 snakes (on non-renathal) you get below 0 and die The same effect applies to Amora, where if they go from 30 to 40, if you have played a snake they will go from 23 to 33 and not 40. Alex never dealt damage of any kind, she even bypasses paladin secret Eye for an eye that deals damage to the other hero equal to damage took (as in, the secret does not proc even if the enemy hero gets their health reduced)
@alexnevskygod7088 i know enough about coding to know that this can very easily coexist if the developers give a single fuck, but instead diamond hero portraits are more important
@alexnevskygod7088 The game is very clearly bugged. Azerite snake has battlecry "STEAL 7 hp." You take 7 from their life total and gain it yourself. Alex battlecry is "SET 15 hp." You either raise or lower the life total to 15. If that does not make it so you have 15 life total, then it is bugged and the game is broken.

r/unexpectedfactorial 0 is the new 1,307,674,368,000, huh, that's interesting.
15 is the new 0 no?
You need 4 ticks, not 3 for combo?
So the way it works is that The Azerite Snake gives the enemy hero a - 7 Health enchantment that is re-applied when their Health is set to a specific amount, it works the same way with Amara.
sounds like it’d be a funny thing to turn someone into rag to insta die if it works the same way
least spaghetti HS code
Would that mean it would work on a renathal deck after 3 snakes?
@@blanksymortimer4088 No, because its re-aplied AFTER their Health is set, you can't trigger Renathal after the Snake.
How would it work with Reno?
I encountered this bug the other day in standard except the opponent alex'd themselves to try stay alive but just died instead
RIP
Lol. Hilarious :)
“I bring life-”

Alex is confused

So this bug has been known for several weeks (if not months) and is still not fixed? Thank you Blizz, very cool.
This happened to me and i wanted to call my local hearthstone lawyer. It says "set remaining health to 15" it should override the snakes debuff. I say!
it cant override when applied first :)
It acctually can going off the majordomo interaction which is confusing to me
The "real" problem is that Azerite Snake shouldn't be an aura
Spagheti code
Just lost to a player setting my hp to 15, I'd say get that hearthstone lawyer on the line.
I love how it’s supposed to make you do it the other way around but this is way funnier 😂
can you do this by turning your opponent into ragnaros with majordomo?
Probably as Long as they do Not fix this bug
So Alex reduces the hero's max HP by 15 but if their max HP is 15 or less it just reduces it to zero?
Because the reduction takes place before taking the Snake health Debuff Into Account.

The snake reduces life total, so when you play Alex you break the game using a bug and automatically win the game. Fun, fair, and interactive!
They made elusive a keyword finally
Fun, and interactive.
Hello from Tomatos, awesome desk!
Yassss I love it I was wondering how you were gonna break Alex this expac
This is in game already since last expansion (Mark plays it in wild anyway)
OMG that's so dumb... They just need to set the Health to 15! How the f they managed to f such a simple task up!!!
Small indie company, they don't have the funds nor manpower sadly
Does this interact with ice block? 🤔
Should not. Negative health even after ice block, should die
I kinda expected majordomo rather than Alex but.... Yeah that works too
Gotta love the bugs
This breaks mage ice block!
This is my type of deck although I disenchanted the 7 mana legendary card 2 hours ago 😢
It's not like that 7 mana legendary was ever played in either of these two games...
Going back to Blizzard Jail
It is quite sad to exist in the universe where only in-game bugs allow you to win the match. Quite sad...
Too soon, Executus!
No freakin way 🤣
To blizz jail with You! ;)
Well played
Why not play the alex first and then the snakes
because that wouldnt kill and the entire point of the video wouldnt work

Feature not a bug right? Haha
11:11 Mark kills his hog with Smokestack instead of attacking the Elemental with the hog and killing it with Smokestack. Looks like a missplay to me.
Wait. So, if you play Azerite snake, then you give Majordomo Executus to your opponent and kill it, you will win?

just played that deck must be fixed
Can confirm that it is not.
Don't get it, he was with 12 live points, the dragon didn't set it up to 15????
Exactly. To get that effect u must donate $666 for passivision blowzzard.
