  • India is one of the most densely populated exotic Asian countries, where you can see and experience a vibrant kaleidoscope of colors in all aspects of life. Only there can you see a cow confidently walking down a city street next to a Mercedes. Only in India do people boldly enter the murky, dirty waters of the Ganges to perform rituals of purification relying on the river’s divine powers. Its history, social structure, traditions, and rituals still remain incomprehensible to the outsider. It is a well-known fact that India is a country of contrasts. In this video, you will learn about the most interesting traditions, peculiar rituals, and shocking facts about this country.

Agreed with almost all you said except for the part where you claimed that majority of Hindus are vegetarian. They are NOT.
Majority among the Hindus are non-vegetarian (meat or fish eaters). That makes majority of India non-vegetarian.
The proportion of vegetarians versus non-vegetarians in India is roughly 40:60.

You don't know. I am a South Indian and I know.
It's a myth propagated by the media that Hindus are mostly vegetarian and South Indian Hindus particularly so.
Majority of Hindus are non-vegetarian, including South Indian Hindus, some of whom, like Malayalis, even eat beef!

Oh! Now, I understood what you meant.
You meant that seventy percent of Hindus ARE non-vegetarian, right?
In. that case, I agree with you.
I thought you meant the opposite.
