  • They sure knew how to tackle large-scale projects in the Soviet Union. They could divert rivers, build cities where there were none before, conquer the North, create new “seas,” and urgently lay railways in permafrost conditions. Today, we will talk about the most incredible and abandoned places in the Soviet Union. These forsaken projects, born in the Soviet era, seem to speak to us about the country’s former power and ambitions.

Why would someone go muddin in a small place like that? Looks like the land around it might be better. -- People are retarded.

The madness of the Cold War can still be seen thousands of years from now. People will continue to be amazed over time. The money wasted in this way could have made the Soviet Union a rich country. And a little less aggression was needed to compete because everything would have been much better if the money had been well spent (and NOT just in the pockets of the thugs who mostly make up the Russian government)
