Jeezus, I don't think I've ever laughed out loud while watching a drumvideo like this before. Not because it was bad, but because dude was so badass energetic flying around the kit, AND stayed in pocket while sticks be flying around. Somebody get this guy the job in Polyphia stat! Awesome performance!!!
The stock drop and recovery really is nice, feels like it isn't edited from multiple takes which a lot of drum videos are these days, amazing playing as well 🤘
Amazing playing! Fantastic movement around the kit. Crossing over with the left hand to reach that distant floor-tom with that much speed and power is truly remarkable.
I've seen this guy in person 2 or 3 times (even got to play his kit during an open jam afterwards) and I have to say, dude's gotta be the best drummer I've had the pleasure of interacting with and witnessing live. This video doesn't even touch how good he is.
By far my favorite drummer right now. So inventive and refreshing. I’m bummed Bilmuri sold out in my city before I could get a ticket. Can’t wait to see more of Xavier

Clearly an excellent drummer, don’t want to downplay that or take anything away from this man. But there’s too much going on for my taste. Sometimes less is more in my opinion.

Also these guys have a professional attitude, they do practice/rehearse before takes like these (and what you're seeing is usually not the first take and often even a multi-take vid). That doesn't diminish the performance, it's how things are. These dudes are incredibly good and make sure they look good thru practice and/or preparation.
He is the best artist on the Meinl roster..he is the future we need him on all the festivals I don’t play Meinl because meinl is not big on the black drum community..it just is that way we either go Z or Sabian…this is making a big statement..I might just consider buying some M’s
