RoBoTrick sold out at Tricky Imports! Clearly, your vids are helping the community - thanks for your vids!! Favorite movie is probably Mother (Bong Joon-Ho, not Aronofsky)
Oh that's so awesome to hear!! Thanks ez!! I heard he should get more soon, so here's hoping! Thanks for the kind words!!! And lovely movie pick! Joon-Ho is a visionary!!
Since we are talking about a robot game, my favorite robot movie is Short Circuit, Johnny Five is alive 🤖. Taylor, thank you for the videos. Trick Taking games are fun, and your videos always have me trying to find those next best games to add to my collection. Welcome back!
Amazing pics, Hecat!!! Love the theme to it too!! And cheers for the kind words! It means so much to read and hear that the videos are fun, if a bit wacky hahaa! Thanks so much!!
Yes! RoBoT-rick! This game is so good, it has the potential to be one of my favorite trick takers. You did a great job explaining your thoughts. I hope someone picks the game up for wider distribution. Also, you should have asked rick if it was safe. Although robot dentistry is hazardous.
Great video as always Taylor! One of my all time favorite movies is 50 First Dates! It's just the right amount of cheesiness and hopeless romantics. *swoon*
Thanks, as always for these excellent videos! I've found so many games from you, and now Tricky Imports!!! My favorite movie is Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It's the first movie I ever remember growing up as a kid. I even have the original cover tattooed on my leg!
Welcome back! Glad to see you back making videos. My favorite movie is White Christmas. I love the music. I love the jokes. I also have a ton of good memories set around White Christmas. Looks like an interesting game.
Great intro! This is a pretty neat game, it makes the low cards just as important as high cards, without having to give them any special powers or rules. And my favorite movie is Speed Racer!
So glad to have found your channel in the last few months. Although I really like Blade Runner a lot, I love Paul Thomas Andersen. So my favorite movie is either Boogie Nights or There Will Be Blood.
Great video, as always. Really enjoyed playing with you and Ty last week. Thank you again. Favorite move is The Princess Bride! But don’t forget to check out Dead Again!
Wow, every video always makes me yearn for more trick takers... My favorite movie is Back to the Future: Part II; Great sequel by building on the original, and is always a great time! Plus it has RoBoTs!!
Thanks for the video, I hope you enjoyed the time away. I'm very impressed with how RoBoTrick captures so much of the feeling of a 4 handed trick taker in a 3 player game. My favorite movie is Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
New subscriber here. Your channel has been an amazing resource to learn how to play the games. My fav movie is Memento by Chris Nolan! A mind-bending movie, just like how mind-bending trick takers can be 😊
Had my eye on this one for a while. I wonder if it could be adapted to have two robots for 2 player. My favorite movie is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It literally changed my outlook on so many aspects of life.
My favorite movie is WALL-E. I thought it would be a silly robot movie but it surprised me with the theme of a new beginning and the relationship between the robots WALL-E and EVE.
Great video! Really interesting trick-tracking with all the rick',s mechanic My favorite movie is Memento by Christopher Nolan. The movie is so good that I wish I could forget it all and rewatch it many times!
My favorite movie is a classic from my country, Brazil, called "O Auto da Compadecida", it was renamed in English as "A Dog's Will" (it's not a literal translation, but it would be very hard to translate that into English, it's a pretty regional name, so this alternative makes sense given the context of the movie). I don't know how they translated the whole movie because the expressions are very regional dependent, but it's a funny movie about two poor guys who constantly trick people to survive in a poor region of my country. (The description is extra simplified to not give spoilers).
Ohh! I love this "Rick" mechanic! My trick taking game group is a 3 players group, so this game would fit just perfectly! :) My favorite movie, I would say Lord of the rings - The fellowship of the ring.
Conan the Barbarian! It's not good, but I love it. Just played Sail for the first time tonight - got it based on your review video months ago, and glad I did! Thanks so much!
Thanks for another great video and giveaway! My favorite movie is Sherman's March--a weird documentary that evolves as it goes. The main character may even be a robot or a Rick, who knows?
I just purchased a copy of RoBoTrick so I don't want to be considered for the giveaway, but my favorite movies are typically anything with Will Smith in them, like iRobot or Wild Wild West
I’m a huge fan of Miller’s Crossing and it’s my reflexive answer for Favorite Film. It’s got comedy, it’s got intrigue, it’s hard boiled and had such a great use of language. Sadly in this context, there are no robots. Or Ricks.
2 player home-variant works very well for us - deal 15 cards each and play 15 tricks, 4 cards (instead 3) gain positive points. Additionally, the game is very easy to proxy, just use standard cards deck and randomize AI actions - there are 2 types of actions (high/low, long/short), primary and secondary action for the given column must be different.
Such a well integrated AI! Almost makes me wish that The Crew's Jarvis (dummy player for 2) had more "agency", and players had to follow its lead sometimes. My favourite movie has to be Interstellar, it's as grand and grounded and emotional as the best sci-fi books of all time. It's so complete that there is a whole rock band that has 2 amazing albums based on Interstellar, and coincidentally it's called TARS -- the robot (not Rick!) configured for 90% of honesty.
Favorite movie is such a difficult one! Having a difficult time picking between iRobot, Bicentennial Man, and Robocop… Kidding aside, I would probably go with How to Train Your Dragon (weirdly enough).
I am so with you about usual "dummy" hands.. that it's usual SO SO SO contrived and annoying.. ( Like Dirk in Alhambra?) -- I do love Chronicle though.. and maybe I am just not noticing.. but how is this Ghosts of Xmas? ( which I love ) -- and I like EXACTLY 3 -- anywho.. I don't know if this is a must buy but this is very cool .. and my God perhaps the BEST intro ever??? Especially your sad accused guy's hair-- which miraculously he finally fixes when he's running away and saying " BYE! BYE NOW!" HAHAHAHAHAHAH
Welcome back, Taylor! Good riddance, Trick! My favorite movie is The Third Man. Orson Welles at his best, fantastic zither music, and disorienting camera angles.
My fave movie is probaaaably ex machina. Absolute Scii Fi banger. Horror wise I'd sayyy Empty Man. Action wise I'd sayyy The Raid 2. Comedy id sayyy Airplane?? Maybe?
My favorite move is Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. It has Jesus teaming up with Mary Magnum and luchador wrestler El Saintos to fight off a bunch of vampires who can survive in the day because they grafted the skin from lesbians. There's Kung-fu action, a musical number, and Jesus kills someone with a toilet plunger!
Looks like a really good game. Right now Haggis or Bottle Imp is what we play at 3, so this would be a fun alternative. Favorite movie? Let's go with Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
My favourite movie is Casablanca and your intros are only getting better as time goes on!
Ahhhh soooo good! One of mine too!!

Cheeers Shrey!! Yes it totally is! I hope it gets more plays soon! What a wonderful game!
