  • Hello guys! Today I'm doing what should be a relatively simple drivers side back in to this facility, but some skids that are placed on my blindside got to my nerves and messed the whole setup into it, resulting in far too many corrections for my liking!!

    I had a transfer dump truck and it took years to be competent backing it I went back to a fifth wheel 45 foot tanker then realized I forgot how to back a straight trailer lol. Amazed at what you drivers do with those things.

    you show me once again how difficult it is to manoevre with two trailers. You mention nerves - I admire you controlling nerves and I admire your patience, Other traffic puts this patience to the test and the everything on the blind side is a big problem to cope with as well.Thanks for this video.Respect!❤

    Great video thanks mate.
    The camera angle was perfect; showing us the trailer as well as your steering wheel, not to mention the text letting us know what was going through your head.
    Really appreciate it

    B-Train, you know what would be cool is to have you take a second after you finish your back and take your camera and show us from the trailer end what the site looks like that would really put it in perspective. Well done again & it’s always nice to go back to a place that you know how to get into. Lol.

    Awesome! I love these backing videos. When I first found your channel, I didn't know what was going on, but now, with hundreds of hours on American Truck Simulator, playing almost exclusively with B-train trailers, I not only know exactly what's going on, I'm actually sitting here critiquing your every move haha. I'd love to try it in real life, with the nerves going. Great job man. I've uploaded a ton of videos backing B-trains in ATS on this channel, if you're curious.

    Impressive as always Matt!👏 Most people would still be on the road trying to figure out how to get the back trailer to turn into the loading yard, but you handled that like it was nothing!
    On a different topic, this might seem like a bit of a strange request, but recently I went back and watched some of the very first videos that you posted on your channel, the ones where you were playing guitar covers, and I thought that they were really good! I was wondering if mabe, only if you can fit it into your schedule, you could mabe make a video or two where you are playing guitar. In your house update videos, there were plans briefly mentioned of a music room or something along the lines of that, and even if those plans didn't come to fruition, I think that some music videos from time to time would be a great contribution to the content of the channel.🎸 Once again, great job with the backing up!👍
    P.S. I've been looking for a good bass cover of Livin' On A Prayer by Bon Jovi for a while now, and just can't seem to find the right thing...😉

    Sometimes I find that crossing it all up makes for the shortest recovery, so if you need to pull it straight in a short distance, cross up both trailers, then they’ll pull straight in a shorter distance. When you get it right first time it’s awesome, but one slight delay or miscalculation, and you spend the next 10 minutes getting it back where you wanted it 🤦🏻‍♂️

    Don't be too hard yourself we all have our bad days and you only need to get that line wrong in the first go and it screws up your whole process. Maybe a little less speed in your first approach would have been better. Good job though you get it in there without any damage etc and it's a success no matter how long you take.

    Do the B-trains require less room to back than a 48 or 53ft trailer? I know they have a better turn radius but I never realized that going backwards they also turn better not saying it’s easier, just wondering if you can get it in tighter situations because the trailers follow each other.

    I doubt I will see the answer, but I have a question about your trailers. What length are they? I am a model builder and would love to do a model similar to your rig and set up. And you make it look real, and your patience should be bottled and sold. You could retire. Also I have a super hard time backing a trailer up so your doing a B Train fascinates me

    If you were to have a lift axle on a trailer would it have to be a spiff axle? Can it just be a fixed axle that can be raised or lowered whether you’re loaded or empty?

    • @callthemall
      @callthemall  4 месяца назад

      Any additional axles would only be required for Michigan weight laws, as this setup allows maximum weight in Canada. Michigan does not require spif axles so they would only need to be lift and lower axles

      @Tie_Rod_End 4 месяца назад

      @@callthemall so say I had a 5 axle setup for hauling steel, three axles in the middle and 1 on the front and back. Would the separate ones have to spiff if I’m only in Ontario?

    This is a PERFECT EXAMPLE OF WHY B-TRAINS suck it hard out loud all day long ..But if you don't mind being the trucker most hated in the world for passenger cars and people trying to get places . then this is a job for you ... I myself personally would rather not put myself & the general population thru all that ...Hey Bro did you count how many times you pulled out and back .. YOU SUCK IT...You spent the whole video trying to figure this simple back up ...YOU SUCK IT SOOOOO BAD....I would have gotten out of the truck walking backwards in shame ...
