Yeah and that "half a second before the light turns green" for the boost at the start is bullshit imo....You gotta hit it a half a second *AFTER* the last red light....way easier to time and execute imo
@@sithlorddread8721 Half a second before green and half a second after the last red both land in the exact same time window where you need to rev. You're both right.

5 complaints about this goddamn list within the first two minutes. 1. Not showing what happens when you do 3 perfect boosts in one drift. I seriously have a problem with this, as if you show people how much you can attain, will people try to do that and become better at drifting as a whole. 2. Not discussing the stat system. the stat system is crucial to CTR and it's future iteration, CNK. Speed, Acceleration and Turning (SAT) are crucial when picking your driver. They fall into what I call the big Four. Drivers with high turning, but low speed and acceleration are what I call Beginner-difficulty racers, welcoming newcomers to how CTR works and can make easier tight turns when drifting. Drivers with all around stats are Intermediate-difficulty racers, meaning they're a jack of all trades, but sadly a master of none. Drivers with high speed and low acceleration and turning are Advanced-difficulty racers, with a fast top speed but a bit of a lackluster boost when it comes to actual drifting. Drivers with high acceleration but low speed and turning are Alternative Advanced, where they can capitalize more off of drift boosts and are highly rewarded with immense speed should the player manage to drift at almost every point in the track. 3. Bad gameplay. I seriously hate this. Please get fucking good at the video game you're covering, or else we'll have another cuphead situation. 4. Airtime and hopping are lumped in together. 5. Clickbait title, the game gives you tips during the fucking loading screens.
"they fall into what I call the big four" get a load of this guy he thinks he's being original when the ps1 game calls these driving styles the same things you 'came up with' lol
That tip about going into time trials to learn the shortcuts is spot on. I just did that this week and now I'm beating people or at least getting top 3 online way more often than I used too. Also trying to beat N. Tropy can help you learn how to take certain turns if you follow his movement first, then find your own way to do it. I'm also glad you talked about quick item select, no one ever talks about this mechanic, it's literally in every kart racer. Even Mario Kart has that mechanic, but nobody ever talks about it.
Most of these tips are already explained in the game which is in the tutorial or help option in the pause menu. Was hoping to actually learn something here
Kind of a sloppy video. On many occasions the visuals aren't going with what the guy is saying. For example: 2:05 - Literally says "make sure you hop" and the player in the footage doesn't hop. That is not how you present something, or anything for that matter lol. On top of that, the game DOES tell you a lot of these tips. Maybe even all of them, I wouldn't know as I stopped watching about a quarter way through.
What's wrong with humanity, everyone is repeatedly typing the same comment. Obviously this person is only trying to help, if you know the concepts already why are u even here. Following individuals stand down.
I agree 👍 💯 %. I just need to know how to make crash bandicoot jump. We have the very new Xbox series X, and he never told us how to jump. Like what buttons to push to make him jump 😮😢
I didnt know about the brake mechanic until a few days after i started playing by aku aku But what they didnt tell you about the brake is that when you have a lot of air you can reset your camera position by steering to the direction you want and holding the brake
he doesnt actually give the tip that the game didnt give us.. which is extra revving for an even bigger boost at the beginning of the race.. not just once.
why is hard difficulty so...well...HARD? i can breeze through medium like it was nothing but hard is downright unfair. their carts are faster than mine. what gives?
the game tells you all of this. videos like this should be taken down and youtubers dont deserve any sort of money for this. its time youtube starts cleaning up.
If there’s one thing that doesn’t make sense why did they make Aku aku say oh you have to press the drift button to press just tell with button to press!
Hay, can someone tell me how to make crash bandicoot jump. I have the new Xbox series X. My husband and I have tried everything we could think of. HELP Please 🙏 😢 😭 😢
Not sure if you still need it but often if you can't make the jump, it is because there is a trampoline you are missing right before. If you're ever stumped get level name and youtube it to see how to solve.
I'm sorry, the tips where fine, but it did not match the gameplay at all. There were several times where you talked about jumping off at the apex of a ramp, and didn't do it in the footage. Clearly it was a 15 minute recording session that just looped. I hope you'll put more effort into matching footage with what's being shown going forward ^^'

How to access the tutorial?
@@KitsGravity aku aku or uka uka tells you almost everything in the adventure mode or you can just read the hints in the pause menu

*doesn’t use hop*
I remember never being good enough to beat the second story race as a kid.

What is that blue vertical bar between the map and boost bar?
It shows you air time during a jump which translate into the amount of boost you get from it.
