it does seems like a great mod, like skyrim unbound, it lets you play as NOT the dragonborn, when dragons shows up- you fight it, kill it and... thats it... you dont absorb its soul, or when you go up to word walls- nothing happens, you dont get the shout cause you dont know how to use the thuum(thou there is an option to know shouts and learn them from the walls but still non-dragonborn, (you can also edit it so you have absolutely no magic spells at start of the game,

      Hpwdy Ranger 🤠
      Great to see you.
Unbound sounds like avery cool mod.
I enjoy these Alternate Start mods. If done well (and this one is) it offers more freedom and replayability.
This mod is still being actively worked on. They are up to version 7.4.
Which ~works~ with the Next Gen Update. As much as the NGU actually makes the game "work".
Personally, I think Bethesda is purposely breaking Fallout 4 in order for people to buy their more money-making games: Fallout 76 and Starfield.
They want people to buy 76, then keep spending real money with microtransactions. With Starfield, it is their newest property so they want to sell more $80 games, instead of an old $40-60 game of Fallout 4.
They are still updating Elder Scrolls Online because it makes them immediate profit.
But they keep breaking and re-releasing Skyrim.
Yes, these old games make them a few dollars per sale. But the newest game will bring in more money right now, as opposed to a trickle.
And microtransactions will keep their lights on all year long.
So, my opinion is that Bethesda doesn't want Fallout 4 to stay relevant with mods. It's an 8-year old game, 'Put it out to pasture. Let's focus on my *new* game.' - Todd Howard
      😏😒
Anyway, thank you for watching this little series. I hope you enjoyed yourself.

      Howdy-hey Papa J!
      Thank you for watching.
Yeah, I feel bad for the Playstation gamers.
I almost picked up a PS4 when buying Fallout 4.
I wanted Fallout 4, which was still a new game, but I didn't have a system to play it on.
Unable to buy a PC at the time I had to choose between Xbox and PS4.
The salesperson told me PS is awesome, and that Sony is really great with their customers regarding mods (which weren't really out much for consoles yet. I was getting a console about 6 months after the game released. Creation Kit wasn't released yet.
      I'm glad I chose Xbox.
Then when we were moving, I finally had the opportunity to get a gaming laptop, and did.
So many additional mods for PC.
But I think any system one can get to play their favorite game(s) is great.
That is why I feel bad for Playstation owners due to the corporation putting limitations on the players enjoyment.
I'm glad they at least *have* mods to use. But so limited in number, as well as limited mod space.
Totally not fair to the players. 😔
Thank you so much for watching and hanging out with me as I played.
Be Excellent and Party on, my talented friend. 🤘😎🎸🌈🤗

      Hello Claw, and welcome. 👋
Is it? The mod author did mention on the Nexus mod page for Start Me Up Redux, that, due to the first Next Gen Update things were obviously broken.
But he did fix those issues.
Then Bethesda did another Next Gen Update ver 2, which broke his mod again.
      But he fixed that.
Then Beth did the third Update "fix", and the mod author said he will fix it, but he is going to wait until the end of this year. That way any other updates Beth wants to do won't give him additional work each and every time.
But he did mention, for one of his fixes that it worked with the Next Gen Update.
That one may be the last one he did.
Thus deciding to wait until Bethesda settles down.
      It *is* a wonderful mod.
I am using version 6.11, but he is up to ver 7.2 (or 7.4, I don't recall the second number. 😄).
But even 6.11 I have had no actual issues with crashing and such.
Many of his updates are to fix dialog that npcs give you that make it sound like you are from a vault, or that you are from Pre-war.
But glitches and such, I have not experienced any.
So, if you can't get it now for Xbox, do not give up on it. It is a fantastic mod that should be a staple in everyone's load order.
Thank you for letting anyone who watches this video know about the Xbox version. 👍
Be Excellent to each other and Party on. 🤘😎🎸🌈🤗
