Great tip on the carbon stem with the Olivette, lve been using something similar for a few years now. I put the Olivette on then pass the line through the red plastic tube you get with a can of wd40 then lock it in place with a small shot, just booms the hooklength away. Thanks for the vid.
Good to see there is not much improvement or changes to the slider technique as i used it 20 years ago when i was a kid and learning from my elders, some things are basics forever.
Another brilliant video from these guys at Cadence, they really seem to have so many great tips and techniques . The rods and reels look really impressive as well. I will be getting myself a rod and reel combo soon, cant wait If you spend over £50 with them they will give away a free pole to a charity for kids and in my book thats a dam decent thing to do, thanks fellas hats off to you.
That ball maker is just what I've been looking for. Years ago Middy did some groundbait punches, the ball maker looks even better. Which size of ball maker is it please?
The conditions were against us yet again. When we have more favourable conditions again, we'll hopefully get Steve to make a more expansive slider video. Chappy
Hello everyone. How this setting could be done right? If I put the carbon stem and the line inside the olivett it will break the line after some casts. If I don't put the line inside the olivett with the stem carbon, I will lose the olivett. Both situations happened to me. Thanks
Hi! I left Shakespeare at the end of 2016. Main reason was that the office relocated up to Alnwick in the NE of England. My family did not want to move away from the midlands and I became very tired of commuting. Cheers James
