Man you can't believe the pain I've gone through trying to figure out why my keyboard stopped working properly, the thing is the same thing happened to an old mac keyboard I was using & I thought it just was dying so I went & bought a new one. It worked for a while then when I upgraded to Catalina then the new keyboard stopped working properly & after a few days, I remembered the same thing that happened to my old keyboard the exact same keys stopped working. I tried everything that I could think of but once I knew both keyboards had the same problem I knew I had to try & configure it & that's when I found your video, Man you saved my sanity. Thank you

I can´t find the Ç key within the Karabiner menus. I want to change this to be Enter key as it´s right next to it and I keep pushing it by accident when reaching for the actual Enter key. Does anybody know how to find the Ç in the Karabiner menus, please?

Al of the suden it stop working, now caps Lock it´s just caps luck I have deleted the action or the thing you download and redownloaded it and still nothing. Anythoughts. It´s seems to be remaping backspace or erase for some reasone
How can i remap the f16 key to be a "colon?" There is only an option for a "semicolon". So my solution is that I have remapped to f17 key to be "shift" so I will press f16 f17 at the same time to make a colon. However, I want to be able to just push onebutton for a colon.

I can't believe that Apple didn't include this crucial option in the basic OS. Using software such as Karabiner that is not in the app store is security risk.
Haha, I already have this app. And yes, its a pretty cool app, although I need to look into why its not been working lately. (May simply need an update.) Was kind of looking around to see if current versions of MacOS now allow native remapping... (but maybe I should just learn how Mac users type... like, how do you do it comfortably?)... ...I remapped the keys so I could use "fn" as the "command" key, which allows me to do the Windows style "control + c" and "control + v" comfortably. Since Karabiner sorta stopped working (after several good years of service...), I've just been using the left "command" key, and... I don't know which finger (or thumb) to use. Its just not intuitive or comfortable... I think there is probably a way though. Some people say its good when you get used to it. Anyway... gonna go find mac typing video I guess ha.

It's only a security risk, if Karabiner is a virus, which it isn't - I agree tho, Apple should include options like this

It should work after starting the app. If not you can try to restart your mac. But remember to give the appropriate access as shown in the video.
