@@KC-nm4ct It's worth noting that many of Roma's starting players were injured during the game. Despite this setback, Roma still performed exceptionally well. Even though Sevilla was considered the stronger team, they were unable to score any goals besides the penalties.

English reffing has completely ruined the premier league and now it ruined the Europa league final. What the fans did to his family is a disgrace, inexcusable, no doubt. Taylor didn’t give a penalty for a blatant handball which is also a disgrace. Not using VAR multiple times was also a disgrace. Two things can be true at once.

These refereeing decisions have the potential to cost a club millions. They should not be immune from scrutiny. Its time they should be made to attend mandatory press conferences after games just like representatives of the clubs

The refs interpretation is dubious just because he could have used the VAR but as we can see on the images he denies it. He should have gone and review the images, I can't understand how he was so sure about it when he has the technology available. He gave at least a couple of penalties in the premier league on the same situation.

The players constantly scream obscenities in the refs face, they cheat by diving, they skilfully initiate contact to buy cheat free kicks, they scream after every tackle whether they've been touched or not, they constantly try to con the ref by pretending they've been hit on the head, they constantly use the new head injury laws to waste time, they surround the ref screaming in unison every chance they get and the managers and coaches routinely abuse the 4th official....and the crazy thing is I've only listed the actions that aren't even commented on by anyone during the game, these things we have had to accept as part and parcel of the game....and the refs have to attempt to control these narcissistic, millionaire, corrupt babies without one mistake?? Hell it's hard to know what's real and what isn't cos these lads are diving and screaming and acting at Hollywood levels, the players are extremely talented cheats...and now even the fans are even pretending that they don't see this disgraceful behaviour and the decline in standards is down to the refs!! 😅 Ur comment is a joke and it's a miracle there's anybody left who wants to referee, they are expected to be perfect and gets dogs abuse from every angle when they turn out to be just human beings

The refeering in the final was totaly one sided. Anthony gave yellow cards to the Roma players from the start of the Game. In Same situations hasnt given yellow cards to Sevilla Players. That gave Sevilla Players a huge Advantage.

The worst thing about incompetent refereeing is that it opens the door to deliberately "incompetent" refereeing, i.e. match-fixing for bribes.
Taylor's actions in the Arsenal vs City game reinforced his objective of trying to prevent City winning that game. A penalty that Saka scored even though Ederson tried to prevent himself colliding with Martinelli. Ruben Dias got booked for being 'The 3rd man', i.e. the 3rd City player in a group asking Taylor to explain a decision. Who else in EPL history has been booked for that?
Oliver started out as a very honest ref. Not now. He manages to ruin every game with a controversial decision.
Paul Tierney until this last season, very good. Refs the derby cup final and awards Casemiro a free kick after Casemiro had made a red card challenge on Akanji. Unbelievable. Coote on VAR intervenes on the penalty but not for that studs up foul.
There are some good new refs coming along but none will be as honest all their career like Kevin Friend.
