Jus so people know, when you straight pipe anything with a V6 or V8 or V10 or V12 an X pipe is used for scavenging and will help performance. A full all the way dual setup doesn't allow for scavenging and actually hurts performance.
They have the Ford 3.0L Duratec V6 in them. The same V6 that is in the early 2000 Taurus. I never recommended muffler deletes on them for this reason. They sound horrible without mufflers.
@@BigBootySeeker2 I have an opinion just like everyone else here. More is positive than negative. You know I just can't see me spending a lot of money on my car to make it sound like crap. I will never understand the infatuation with straight piped imports.
I have one of these i want to true dual. This sounds like crap but if youd put an x pipe and either a small muffler or resonator it wouldn't sound like dookie. Ill find out. Straight pipes make all the wrong noises on every single car. There must be another back pressure point later to kill the buzz. Most oems use two points of combinations and mufflers. Use two points of combination and no mufflers. Or one combo and individual mifflers. Do i just not know what I'm talking about? I haven't done this before lol. I plan to use two x pipes and two resonators at the back. Staying true dual. Should sound pretty good i believe. Not obnoxious, instead, harmonious.
*The exhaust = 10/10* *The drop kit = 2/10* *If the driver turns too much, he will rip up the fender. This is just as bad as kicked out negative camber.*
I admire the shop for doing what the customer asked for even when its a terrible idea to make a V6 sound like two obnoxiously loud 3 cylinder cars having a drag race. But why make a video of awful thing?
@@datlac95 yeah but it could still be a Mazda 6, I have a 6 wagon 3.0L and so does my buddy and he put a turbo in his and ngl sounds sick nothing like this fart can for sure

I did a muffler delete on one sounds good but wasn't true dueled
@@johnpoe3855 This was a bad idea. If he wanted a true dual system then he should have added some mufflers or resonators.

He made a mistake on that one, should’ve just done the rear mufflers.
I did the rear mufflers on mine and it sounds great 👍
Maybe he wanted it loud and not just sound good
Which muffler did you install, i’m looking for one. I have a 04 Mazda6 Wagon 3.0 V6
@@kata-vl4nime too lol did you figure out what muffler to get?
To loud and obnoxious... just how i like it
I’m into that too. Just not in a v6
Literally sounds like a can with a cicada inside of it

@TumTuned mazda 6 was around before the ford fusion

That sounds really good.
Needs some frequency adjusting pipes to get rid of that "fart" in the mid band and on engine decel. She'd sound like a GT1 car.

I bet it sounds better than alot of other vehicles I've heard

Yeah, that’s pretty much a horrible sound. Loud is one thing, but that is why you always always always put a crossover pipe and mufflers on a V6!
Needs and X-pipe asap and a pair of ultra quiet mufflers..it sounds horrible
@@Hanschepu being quiet is for babies
Just my opinion, I have the same car straight pipe is okay if it's two to one. Six cylinders sounds better spread out compared to two three cylinders.
It's still a V6 sound with true duals.
Loud and raspy.. sounds like my lawnmower
A guy mimicking an engine sound through a toilet paper roll
This is what I need done on my 2004 Mazda 6s 3.0L V6. I live in San Francisco, CA and I hope this modification will not affect my computer controls.
That's crap needs a resonator 💩💩💩💩
When he goes, and littery sounds like an old BMW like the 2000s ones if you straightpipe them.
Agreed
I would like to hear this with an X-pipe to smooth it out a bit

I'm pleasantly surprised it has a V6 and a manual transmission
So does mine :)
That's what you called a "converted rice bowl" from Uncle Bens.
Rides like a roller skate, sounds like a Honda.
Duratec made more HP, but the sound is just terrible. Wish Mazda kept on with the KL motors.
Great candidate for a Borla pro xs dual in dual out 👍
This sounds like complete garbage . Put some damn resonators on it somewhere
A man drives that thing? How embarrassing.
This is the same Mazda 6 that was featured on July 28, 2021.
Looks like the only thing that was changed was the tips and wheels. 🤦🏿♂️
You listened to the guy in the video. Congratulations.

Sounds amazing tho needs a resonator but it’s nice
Homie needs some spacers, but that is dope.
He couldn't even fit spacers his wheels already almost touching fender if he put any spacers on he'd have to take some camber out for sure
No. Junk car is junk.
@@johnpoe3855 raise it back up a little, and spacers would set it off. Better fitment to go along with it's awesome, albeit obnoxious, exhaust
God it sounds awful, needs a resonator or muffler to help with the rasp. Bet you they will come back
They need an equal length y-pipe into single exhaust setup to sound remotely good
The standard uneven length setup sounds like a tractor
