This hit the internet yesterday, so you may have already seen it. Kudos to Bad Sermons for posting it. This is absolutely horrendous. The idea that a man would not be held responsible for his actions because of what a woman was wearing is asinine. What happened to the Old Testament "stone 'em" philosophy that most IFB preachers tout when the speak about adultery and fornication? Apparently, it flies out the window when it comes time to victim shame. And for those who say that it hurts the cause of Christ to expose horrible teaching and preaching, let me ask? What hurts more, the fact that people create cultures based on this or the fact that there are those willing to show the truth of the culture? The mindsets preached from the pulpits get ingrained in the culture for generations, damaging the cause of Christ far more than those who are willing to say, "That's not what Christ and Christianity are about."
Don’t you know David’s sin with Bathsheba wasn’t his fault at all???? What a joke. This is such garbage. Nathan didn’t go visit Bathsheba. He went to David. “Thou art the man.”
One of the vilest things I've heard from behind a pulpit. Little wonder James says Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. Preaching God's word is the greatest of responsibilities; to claim to speak for God and to say something so wicked and antithetical to Scripture (where in the Bible was he supposedly preaching, anyway?) is beyond inexcusable
@@IFBPreachers there is a very creepy odd disdain for women in these hyper IFB churches. But yet some of them prey on them even though they routinely blast them from the pulpit.

As usual, a vociferous and legalistic preacher blames the abuse victim instead of the abuser. Again, if no man had any more self control than that, God wouldn't have declared pastoring a ⛪ a man's job, and the apostles wouldn't have been men. Not that women should wear short shorts, but there's such a thing as fleeing temptation by looking the other way.

@@user-tx7rr7xe4m Not sure if that was meant for me as my bringing up Bethsabee was to point out that she was in a scenario that necessitates it. Adding to that is that she was in her own private capacity; which is to say that she was not revealing herself to anyone else.
@@greschenglin-dz7wj none of what you just said addresses my question at all. Few videos make me open my eyes wider and wider with shock at someone's words. This was one of them.
Obviously the People he is Preaching to have no Discernment...I Heard a Similar Sermon back in the 70s as a Child...I could see the Lust in his Eyes as he was Preaching...It was Disgusting...and Not One Adult in That Church Rebuked Him...
I remember someone saying to me years ago that if I ever needed to get out of jury duty, just tell the judge, "If the person wasn't guilty, he wouldn't be here."
Wow. Jesus said no such thing nor His apostles. In fact, Jesus says: 'But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." Matthew 5:28
One day, he will have to answer for his sins. And God will not be so merciful towards him. So anyway wanna hear some cool bug facts? Reply if the answer is yes.
Mr. Leonard: your statement "(if) I'm on that jury, he gon go free" (a man is a man), is egregiously offensive to The Almighty and to His children (of which I am one). You apparently now know that with your apology published on the reader board. That is not enough. It is easy for those of us faithful to The Way to understand the sin of inappropriate clothing, it is apparently less easy to understand the sin of rape. Condemnation of the one does NOT bring about exoneration of the other. Every man is responsible for his own sin. You have failed to repent and apologize to the MILLIONS of people who have heard this error preached. You have besmirched the entire assembly of the faithful. Your apology must reach beyond your reader board.
Sometimes it's not what you say, but how you say it that counts . I would have said, ladies put some damn clothes on, so we men don't commit the sin of lust Please. Food for thought women, if you dress like a jezebel all kinds of men going to approach you.
@@sterlingnorth114 Did I stutter? Bobby Leonard is 100% correct. Actually, he doesn't go far enough, but he's got the right attitude anyway. The day of reckoning will soon be at hand.
@anos "He doesn't go far enough"? How far are you wanting to go? So you are fine with raping women just because they wore the "wrong" clothes? So in other words, you are pro-rape, you sick motherfucker. You need to be on a watchlist.
By that logic, the thieves ripping things off store shelves and walking out the door without paying should go free because the items aren't locked up and kept by armed guard. The car thief should go free if your car isn't locked up in a garage. The bank robber should go free because the bank had *gasp* money in it, and you can't expect someone to not be tempted to rob it when there's money there. Lunacy logic.
I fully disagree with this channel because most of the preachers it trashes are solid gospel preachers..but that pastor in this video is totally wrong! Satan lays bait everywhere.. that is no excuse to participate in sin!! Again I ask the people behind this channel to please stop making fun of most of the preachers that they call out and spend that time and effort exposing heretics that don’t preach the saving gospel of Christ!
