Violette, I want to tell you that you are the inspiration for me to start wearing makeup in my late 20's! I've always thought people just wanted to conceal their flaws so I used to be anti-makeup in my youths. Your videos made me realize that make is art and it's fun!
This my fave beauty channel to be honest. The reason is Violette treats makeup and glamming-up as Art. You can see she really is an artist and she truly loves her career. Nothing pretentious about her.

That’s really pretty. I’m usually not a fan of “ stars “ on my eyes, maybe at the corners , just for something interesting. I guess it’s all about doing what you love , and not worrying about the trends and what others would “ expect “ you to do. I love creativity. I did a lot of art in school, it kind of helped my makeup skills . ( but I am not a “ pro “ - I just enjoy doing it for fun )

Putting sharp glitter like this on the eyelids is very dangerous! You could potentially go blind from the sharp edges cutting into the eyeballs. Be careful! I cannot believe Violette put out this video without an adequate warning
I agree, Violette often uses craft glitter on her eyes/waterline as well and that's fine if she's comfortable with it, but it is very dangerous and she's never discussed that before which is a bit sad.
Hahaha everytime she does it someone needs to make a comment about the danger of the glitter! Trust me, EVERY fashion makeup artist I know in person, and that includes myself, has used a craft glitter at some point and no one has gone blind from it yet!

Also, the so called “makeup glitter” is also sharp and there will be a risk everytime you put something chunky like that near the eyes!
@@GreenGreenBlossom Just because many MUAs do it doesn't mean it isn't potentially dangerous - Craft glitter is sharper than makeup safe glitter and I actually know a girl who ended up having to flush her eye out many times after craft glitter caused her eye serious irritation, she ended up needing special eye drops from the hospital to stop a potential infection so there's absolutely no reason Violette shouldn't put a little warning/disclaimer in her videos when she uses non-eye safe items.
Wish the intro was not so long. I am in love with your content and videos. Just cut to the good stuff, you have content that needs to intro!

Me too! I always skip it. Mostly because I speak French and it gets stuck in my head for ever
It’s nice to hear the French, I haven’t heard it in so long . ( I took 2 years of it in high school, while most people were taking Spanish , which I was kind of glad that I didn’t take Spanish - ugh : my brother almost failed Spanish, so .... ok , enough said. ) I have a friend who still kind of lives in my hometown, they now offer Italian. C’est cool !
