3:50 for those who ctrl+shift + click isn't working
u should enable node wrangler in settings > addons
With out velvet bsdf shader, it is very realistic. Very nice.
Your presentation is very clean and straight forward, thank you.
Such a great tutorial!!! I love how you explained every step clearly!! thankyou!!
This velvet material is exactly what I needed for a project!!! :O
Thanks :)
Best tutorial out there. Loved that you explained every step while creating the color and material. Instant sub
Thank you very much. That Velvet material is sooooo realistic!!
It really is! You're welcome!
thank you for your great tutorial! I really enjoyed it!

Thank you! I could make this!
awesome bro. Thank you so much
tnx! Excellent, as always!
Thank you!
That's amazing
Thank you! 😁
after sub dividing the cube you need to use the cast modifier and set the x axis to 1, then it will be a perfect sphere
Thanks for your information! I know how to do it but I think it's not necessary in this situation since we use the cloth modifier after that
@@QuyTran37haha I kinda realised after the cloth simulation that it wouldn't have looked right. Great tutorial
@@OliverDavidson-em8hj Thank you bro!
Great tut 🤙
Good tutorial!👍
Very useful, great tutorial

THANKS SO MUCH
Im here for the velvet lol
But the simulation approach is gold
You are amazing
Very cool
thank you so much
very cool thx u!
thank you for your video
the way you said was making this look so easy but the actual problem is when we start doing this and try to follow and there are few steps where we miss while cloth simulation and material application, because which i was unable to cotinue the project.
and there is this software which is different because of which the name of the nodes differ slitly.
At last the information you provided was really great at the short period of time. and i don't know why my bean bag turned to be black and white rather then white.
yes, this is an 3 years old tutorial and the UI have some changes now, but the principal is the same. Can you describe more clearly the problem you're facing?
Wowowowow!
BIGGG THANKSSSS
perfect
Wow I never heard of you before but I'm definitely subscribing now
Thanks for subbing :D
youre the best
Thanks :D
you are the best
Thanks! :D
06:00 voronoi > invert > bump.
06:10 voronoi is gone.
So fast at shader thing, i can't keep up. Need a shader screenshot to finish this 😃. Very good tutorial by the way, thank you
Also didn't mention that strength normal map decrease to 0.3. Amazingly no one on this comments having issue on this shader editor.
Hi, thank you for your notice, I actually do the voronoi after the lighting but when I edit the video I think it should come first. The strength is depend on your needs, and it's a basic thing too. I'll explain better next time. Thank you.
woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow i like it its look like real !
WOW. thx
god bless you!, i'll share this tutorial to blender group on fb so u got more view... thanks alot!
this animation gliched the heck out of my macbook
Thx sir
Sir please could u make tutorials on material editor from basic to pro.
For example how to use mix shader, etc.,
As I am new to blender platform it's a bit of concussion sir.
Another great content..
Really amazing tutorial, I made a very small donation... Sorry about that, but we are living hard times. I just want to thank you for your efforts.
Thank you so much! It means a lot to me 😁
What is the scale on the Veroni texture, please?
really noice
Thank you 😁
there's a shader for it called velvet bsdf so just use it , would be easier and faster
Nice.
Thanks!
The shortcuts for shading dont work for me, I'm on blender 2.9, did I miss an add-on or something? Thanks again for your great work !
It's ok need node wrangler addon
i made this but the render is not coming out right it is all distorted i dont know why by in the shader view it is perfectly fine but when i try to render it it distorts. Please help
I very naively hit play on a 6x subdivided cloth sphere to see what it'd look like and it's 3 weeks later and my computer is on frame 24.
I'm not getting the results as yours!! Am I supposed to apply the modifiers and then do the process( I'm doing on a footwear). But most of the texture is visible even before applying modifiers.
A help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.👍🏼
Great. I thought you would forgot the Seams! I'll try it and post on IG
Yeah I do, but I corrected it :D. Thanks hope to see yours
@@QuyTran37 I'm. Thinking to make a black leather one. Should I change something on the cloth simulation?
@@daniz89 you can change about the Stiffness and Damping value, but I think it won't affect much 😁
@@QuyTran37 Thanks. I changed the cloth preset to leather and I think it worked fine. Posted on Instagram. :) Thanks
I saw it! So cool!
Hi! When I plug the voronoi into the bump node and then into the normal slot, it makes my mesh look as if all the faces are flat instead of smooth. How come ? I'm pretty sure I did it all like in the video.
Hi, try to reduce the bump strength may helps
hi
thanks for sharing your knowledge & time.
I need an information, how can we add an background like your final product in gumroad.com. that green wall
please give a tip.
thanks
Thanks, maybe I can describe it in another tutorial :D
@@QuyTran37 Ohh sure, I'm depply waiting
is this cycles or eevee?
does anyone know how you get that vector node?
Hi, select the texture node and hit Ctrl+T
Can anyone put texture here! the link doesn't work for me !! help!
dont work in the last version of blender nov 23 /2022 when apply the cloth the sphere disapper, and now exist a velvet bsdf
@1:45 after applying pressure the physics of the sphere acts like a giant ball instead of a cloth..Any suggestions?
maybe you need to reduce the pressure
Why my distance object collisions not mm
Hi, you have to set the distance Unit in scene
setting to millimeter
Hi, im stop at 3.52, what command or
shorcut did you mentioned? ctl+shift+left click? I'm mac user btw. Thanks
Ctrl shift Lclick, that's means Cmd Option Lclick on Mac. Node wrangler addon must be activated
@@QuyTran37 thankyou!
i cant change value of distance and friciton in self collision
did you figure out how to change the distance and friction?
how did u make it so smooth after 2:40
Subsurf modifier + shade smooth
That's right. Subdivision Surface modifier and Shade smooth
@@QuyTran37 where do u make the shading smooth
@@xxenu right click + shade smooth
Fast and furious tutorial.
Maybe slow the material part a bit for beginners like me
Ctrl + T doesn't work. how to add the viewer node?
You should enable the node wrangler addon first
KANGSEEE HAAAA CHAU NIMA
what happen after 4:32? suddenly turned different
New subscriber please upload realistic grass, flower filled ground.
so ahhh. good stuff...but computer cant handle, jkl
Haha I think it quite simple physic. If your computer too slow try to use less subdivision 😁
@@QuyTran37 LOL
mine looks shiny ?????
the texture doesn't open in my country provide another link pls
why is that? did you tried winrar?
No its becouse of the website it doesn't work pls provide another link pls
So like on another website or something
@@abbassnaim4456 bit.ly/30GPF3a Here it is
Thx
Could not follow. The instructions pass too fast, I cannot pause quickly enough to catch the menu used, the menu name is not stated or when it is it is called a nonstandard name. Keystroke log display would have helped a lot. Might also say the version of Blender being used.
Thanks for the feedback, I will improve in the next videos
@@QuyTran37 Thank you.
I was able to complete it by downloading the BLEND file and following along with that. Nice work. I learned some useful techniques. Thanks again.
Not me clicking because I thought it was a sewing tutorial for a velvet bean bag. Good job though
