Fun fact : when Muzan is walking, the smoke you see is him burning due to the wisteria trees surrounding the house. But he is regenerating so fast that he stays intact !

Many people misinterpret what the little girl told the cops because of the bad translation. It's an absolutely beautifully written piece of dialogue. She said "that man is a monster, he killed everyone", instead of " he's the one that killed everyone" so she was not referring to gyomei, but the demon instead. But since the demon's body disappeared, an what she said could be interpreted as gyomei doing it, because she said "ano hito" (that man), and since gyomei pummeled that demon for the whole night, and he had blood all over him (and since the demon's blood disappears, that means he beat that demon so hard he got bloody knuckles, which is just badass) that didn't help his case. And no normal person will just believe that it was a demon. And that girl was like 6, so she couldn't really express herself yet.
I am glad that someone acknowledged this.

There's honestly a lot of moments in the manga/anime that have less-than-stellar translations that give the entire fandom the wrong impression. One of the biggest ones that I've noticed is how Mitsuri calls Rengoku a "kakkoii onii-sama." In the show, it's translated literally as a "cool big brother," but culturally, it just means "cool young man," or "cool guy." 😅
So now a huge portion of the English fanbase has prescribed a sibling relationship to Rengoku and Mitsuri that isn't actually there. They're shihan and tsuguko, senpai and kōhai. Not siblings. 😝

I have three things to say:
First: That kid who betrayed the other orphans and Himejima in the temple was the same boy we saw in a flashback of Zenitsu in season 1.
Second: The girl that was protected by Himejima in the temple was talking about the demon when she said "That man is a monster and he killed them all" but she was too young to express herself. The author of Demon Slayer said that she wanted to apologize to Himejima the whole time but never met him again.
And the last thing: You will absolutely not be ready for the next and in my opinion also the best episode of Demon Slayer and probably one of the best episodes if not the best in entire anime!!!
I'd even argue the next episode is one of the best episodes I've seen so far in all anime

the fact that he guesses why zenitsu is on the boulder is so much detail and got everything but how the old man died made me pause the video XD. that's not a normal thing to figure out that exact with that much detail. THE FUCK!
They perfectly perceived the menace of a villainous presence with his entrance at the end there. The fear through the rumbling air was perfect.

Muzan was burning because Ubuyashiki (Master) surrounded the place with wisteria poison (that burns demon), but because he is so strong, the wisteria effect is essentially nonexistent.
Top Three Upper Moons are way far more powerful than any other demons ( including UM 4,5,6 and others) and the power gap is so big between them as the rank rises up ( for Top 3 UMs especially)
P.S. Don't skip the outro for another episode, it contains some amazing artwork in the credits that you should definitely check out

Ohhh. When I watched I just kept wondering why the mansion wouldn’t have any Wisteria growing or burning there. It didn’t make sense. Also just thought it was either a dramatic anime effect or some sort of illusionary barrier Muzan was walking through. I never thought it could be wisteria.

It's awesome how differently people can react to media. Most people saw the ending and could hardly sit still cause of the walking sequence pared with the epic music. Meanwhile Luke looks scared and lost for hope of what is to come.

Tanjiro had to make a split second decision, which Nezuko made for him, so taking off his jacket would've taken up too much time, although if Tanjiro had more time to think and act in that situation it definitely would've worked.
Also you probably don't remember this, as it was a while back, but the guy with the main character face, the one who betrayed Gyomei, was actually Zenitsu's senior, shown in a flashback.
Also anime rule of thumb, when you see a character with no pupils, they probably are blind, and when you see a character with blindfolds/eye patch, they have special eyes.
Your reaction to this, and also whatever your reaction to the last episode will be, has just got me hype for other max aura scenes in other anime.

animals that's voice by VA are usually those that need to communicate with characters, this way they can expressed emotion . random animals they would just use stock noises.

My head canon is that the little girl didn't turn on him maliciously but when she said, "he's a monster, he killed them," the adults looked at the only person there and assumed it was him she was talking about. This got lost in translation, as often happens in translations.
It not really that, it more on the line of how the others took it that the only person there did it.
3:30 It's mainly because in anime, animals usually emote a lot. Trying to convey some precise emotion with a real animal sound is close to impossible, especially with animals that aren't really common (unlike dogs and cats). So yeah, using actual bird sounds to convey Chuntaro's annoyance with Zenitsu's dismissal of the letter would be extremely difficult if it wasn't just a person imitating a bird.

I believe the manga mentioned that Sayo was actually referring to the demon as the monster and everyone misunderstood her. 🥺 Years later she always wanted to apologize to Gyomei for what happened, but she never got her chance.
I also read somewhere that the 3 children who ran were trying to distract the demon so that Gyomei could escape. Not sure if this was true since I don’t remember this fact from the manga, but it’s nice to believe that was their intention.

4:00 Not sure if it's the same for Japanese productions, but there's a small handful of names responsible for nearly every animal/creature sound in many western productions, including people like Dee Bradley Baker (A.K.A. Perry the Platypus, Waddles the Pig from Gravity Falls, and almost every creature in Avatar: The Last Airbender.) The reason behind using a voice actor for that is that using packs of stock sounds edited in doesn't sound as good and can sometimes even cost more than just hiring a specialist, and getting an animal to do exactly what you want is insanely difficult, while a director can just ask a voice actor to tweak what they're doing however they like.
I didnt appreciate that Infinity castle theme as much not knowing when Michael Jackson was doing the moonwalk , and then when it really hits next episode damn the chills best OST

Fun fact from the mange, the little girl he saved, Sayo, wasn't actually blaming the stone hashira for her siblings' deaths. She was calling the demon a monster but wasn't able to actually articulate who she was talking about and since the demon's body was burned up, they assumed she was talking about the stone hashira. Still really depressing but it's nice to know she still trusted him.

There were no smoke effects on the ground while Muzan was walking. Instead it was the healing effects which were healing Muzan as he was walking through Wisteria(harmful to demons) which were constantly damaging his cells, from the moment he entered DS Corp.
By the way there's no spoilers but on the next episode when the plot twist happens (dw you'll know when it happens) I recommend not pausing much and enjoying the epicness as much as you can even all the credit scenes are insanely good I recommend you watch the whole thing
As others have noted, Sayo was not speaking about Gyomei when she was describing the monster that killed everyone, but she was like 4, she couldn't speak well and she was traumatized. Also, the demon turned to ash at sunrise, erasing all the evidence, leaving Gyomei the only suspect.
