I played around with this and found a sort of trick that worked for me to do the tricky jump easier, this trick you don't need to jump too far away from the wall for the warp to work, when you're jumping from the top of the boxes tap the jump button once immediately followed by the warp button. Holding down the jump/warp buttons seems to tell the game that the player can't warp or they warp too late falling from the jump. I tried this method repeatedly and after some practice I could get up there every single time once muscle memory kicked in. I hope this helps some people who really want to save time grinding the boss for those Allagan Tomestones!

But you can basically just jump forward towards the platform; the thing that really matters is the timing of the button presses. You just have to keep trying - once you get the timing right, it’s east to repeat
So if anyone wants all 4 weapons, Heres what i did: 1. Picked up the 90x tomestones from these videos 2. Farmed Garuda about 30 times for feathers and the rest of the tomes needed, Just use Ragnarock and Rare Metal accessory, you do like 50000-99999 every warpstrike, she dies in like 20 seconds 3. You also need 4 Adamantite so I just went and killed Adamantoise 3 more times: Rest at a camp and eat the food that gives 100% enemy drop rate, equip highest magic accessories and weapons with the Ring of the Lucii and just spam R1 + Triangle move until it finally works, takes like 5 minutes max to kill adamantoise again
I spent like 4 hours using the ring trick on adamantoise... I'll do it again because its fucking exilerating to fight a massive boss the size of Nintendos success
FYI, Ragnarok is no longer obtainable if you joined the FFXV party when it came to PSNow like I did. Ragnarok is a sword that came with the now unavailable booster pack. Thanks a lot, PSN.
it's really easy you just have to face almost exactly forward and jump forward, not even need to jump away from the boxes I end up next to the wall sometimes

For anyone else struggling with this use the jumping tempo. The boxes are higher it's a clue for how long you have to hold the jump button. Also jump further then wht you think. You think you're not gonna make it being so far back but trust you're to close for the jump. Another thing use the LINE ON THE TOP BOXES AS A STARTIN MARK i jump straight sideways pretty much the angle the phase. It becomes easy once you find the spot you can phase level with the landing zone good luck keep trying and hold that jump button just a bit longer
@@henryfarrell5921 Well, all of them have the highest base stats in their respective weapon classes. They all do critical hits on every attack and the sword, daggers and greatsword do 50% more damage while in the air.
The wall doesnt matter. Ill explain how I do it: 2nd jump. get to the top of the boxes (The two on top) Look in the direction you wanna go. Jump (Dont matte rhow close to wall you are) As soon as you jump. Ever so slightly tilt you right thumd stick up (Barely moving the camera) As soon as you do that. Teleport. You gotta be fast. (Not stupid fast) The wall isnt the issue at all. Just jump and tilt your right stick forward then press Y (Teleport)
0:47 This is the stupidest jump in the entire game. Not only is it unnecessarily frustrating to get up the crates because Noctis' jump height is the same as the crate's height, but for some reason the game eats your warp strike inputs after you jump from up there. I'm guessing there's an invisible box the developers placed in the air above the crates specifically to do that.
Rather than doing it like in 1:03, I preferred to walk along the ledge on the right side of the hole, and after drop down from the side to warp to the area below, much closer that way.
If you’re like me and you’re useless at warping; don’t even bother trying. You’ll swear at it for an hour, cry and hate the game. I’ve tried EVERYTHING and can’t get him to warp when you jump through the hole. He absolutely will not do it no matter what I do

But what helped me finally get it was have the camera look straight down onto Noctis aim for the corner of the boxes as best you can run jump the aim you warp for roughly where the item is. I used the mage mashers because I had heard the have the farthest warp reach out of any weapon. It is by no means consistent but I was able to get it twice because I messed but the second jump hahaha well hope that helps

There's actually 120, if you reach the same platform at the end of the video you'll see a big hole in the platform. Run and jump down; once you're just below the platform warp forward to hopefully reach the next platform. Then climb the boxes and you'll come out on the other side of the fence you'd see from the other platform
Alexandre Estanislau it’s doable! AAY jump jump warp. I mean quick. Smash those buttons within seconds of eachother 1/4 second and you’ll warp there every time. You don’t have to jump away from the wall or any of this videos crap
I've tried this 100 times and can't get the first jump to work period. I jump, tap Triangle, no warp. I do it just like in the video, doesn't warp. I am just done. x.x

What future? Jokes aside, I thought of making a video expressing my thoughts on the matter, but couldn't find the time to do it before it was old news. I didn't mind the DLC cancellation all that much, I already considered FFXV to be "complete" when Episode Ignis rolled out. Frankly, I found the second season pass excessive, because despite FFXV being one of my favorite games of all time, there comes a point where you're just adding too much content to it. And that point is when you announce DLCs #6-9. I'm hoping the team can move on to new projects instead and hopefully take learn a lot from FFXV and use its combat system as a base for some future project even if it's not FFXVI. FFXV was a great first attempt, now it's time to iterate upon that. Tabata leaving obviously throws a wrench in all of this, but I still deeply hope this game gets a spiritual successor. I'm still looking forward to Episode Ardyn and I really hope Comrades doesn't die in two weeks again (Despite not making that many videos about Comrades, it's actually one of my favorite parts of FFXV). But after over two years, it's about time we slowly moved on.

Man, I really loved FFXV but the DLCs kinda frustrate me. It's so difficult to go back to enjoying such things when the game has such a definitive, emotional ending. It feels almost cruel to keep dragging these characters and world back for a few hours of content and then leaving them again. I'm really ready to move on. Let FFXV rest and take its place in hall of Final Fantasy fame.

Yes, you can only pick them up once, but in order to get all four Vortex weapons, you only need 120, which means you need to kill the boss 30 times. It's still a bit of a grind but not *that* bad. Especially since you also need to farm for 20 feathers anyway.

Water Flow I start fighting the boss after I finished the game at around level 75. So I have no problem fighting her with 30 level over her. But if u really want to fight her early, u need to eat “guaranteed critical hit” meal from camp. This meal makes the game super easy.
Fuck this update and those jumps. I can't believe the only other way to get what you need to get for these weapons is to grind the same fight over and over again.

Haven't tried NG+ or used chapter select before. Do you lose any progress or items? Also, 120 Allagan Tomestones, 20 Vortex Feathers and 4 Adamantites are required to craft every weapon, right?

I just went around and jumped off into the left under the item by the fence
It seems it matters which sword you equip. Using sword of the wise makes the jump a lot easier (I couldn't even do it with other swords)

It seems the distance changes based on which sword you equip make sure to equip sword of the wise to get the second job done.
It's easier to get the third one if you jump off and right at the fence and go left and underneath you still have to use warp but it's way easier

After the jump near wall. It's easier to go to gate jump over railing and teleport on to other platform instead of jumping down hole.
Fix the camera angle away from the wall make it like 2d view jump, press ⭕️ swing and press warp .and i made it .

Chapter Select resets all side quests and map locations.

Tombstones? Do you mean the monoliths from the end game dungeons, for the data entries? If so, you should be able to just go back into them.

Other items that were picked up return when you use chapter select or ng+. So, I would assume the Allagan Tomestones would as well.

With Blink, if you tap the defend button just as you're about to hit the ground, Noctis will do that to cancel fall damage.
