Tested and works great... until it randomly freezes and crashes. Been trying to run at 4k so I'll have to test if pulling that back down will resolve it. Have you experienced the same? If not, did you make any other changes in the settings?
Game crashes in menu's and player customisation screens reliably poor. IN other words. There is no point in trying to play this on PC. The demo works, the full game doesn't However... 7, 8 and 14 DO WORK on PC properly. You'll see that the disc versions of these games - despite being 10 or more years old cost a fortune on Ebay and Amazon - because the sellers know people want /need them for PC emulation. And currently you do need a blu ray player and the disc in the drive for them to work properly. - even though 90% of the game is on your HDD not on the disk. Just one of those things that the emulator will probably sort out in the next 5 to 10 years
This highlights how little the game has changed in 13 years. Yes on the PS5 MLBTS 23 does look a bit better. But not much. Not 13 years and 2 generations of console better.

Same happening to me. It runs smooth until the random freeze and crash.
