DO IT, only 14 and librebooted both my compatible thinkpads, a t500, and t400, I also went out on marketplace and bought a thinkpad x60 for 20 bucks. I then librebooted that too :) Once you do it for the first time it will be second nature, plus the value of the laptop goes up considerably.

@@Boymoder420 They are getting a little slow, but their are some nice haswell coreboot systems. I am writing this on a t60 though because the w541 is currently disassembled :/ I imagine most people use them for programming/web-browsing.

my x200 has 3 types of screws, small silver ones, mormal black ones used everywhere , and small black ones for stuff like ram cover or wifi cards

Not quite a year, lol. Flash clips can be quite finicky though. I am going to try to make more frequent uploads too :D

I believe so they sell them on tehnoetic. It is probably just a wson 8 chip instead of a soic 8 or 16. That is just a guess though.
